As the days passed, Alexia and Amelia's budding relationship remained a well-kept secret within the team. They cherished their private moments, allowing their connection to deepen slowly and naturally.

One sunny afternoon, Amelia and Alexia decided to visit a local café after training. They sat across from each other at a small table, hands intertwined beneath the tabletop. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter and shared stories.

Unbeknownst to them, Alexia's mischievous sister, Alba, had spotted them from a nearby table. Alba couldn't resist the opportunity to tease her big sister. With a sly grin, she approached their table, her presence startling Amelia and Alexia.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Alba's tone was playful and filled with mischief as she eyed the couple.

Alexia's cheeks flushed slightly, but she shot her sister a warning look. "Alba, what are you doing here?"

Amelia shifted uncomfortably in her chair, feeling the unexpected attention. She glanced at Alexia, hoping for guidance in dealing with this situation.

Alba leaned in, her voice dripping with exaggerated curiosity. "Oh, nothing, just enjoying a cup of coffee and some quality family time." She couldn't help but tease. "Speaking of family time, Amelia, have you met our dear Alexia's family yet?"

Amelia nodded, offering a polite smile. "Yes, I've met them. They're lovely."

Alba raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Lovely? Well, isn't that just the sweetest thing?"

Alexia sighed, realizing that her sister was unlikely to drop the subject. "Alba, can we please just enjoy our coffee in peace?"

But Alba wasn't done yet. She leaned closer to Amelia, her tone conspiratorial. "So, Amelia, tell me, are you the reason why my big sister here sometimes walks around with that goofy smile on her face?"

Amelia blushed, her eyes darting toward Alexia. "I, uh, don't know about that."

Alexia chuckled, her affection for Amelia evident. "Maybe just a little."

Alba grinned, clearly enjoying herself. "Well, well, well. Looks like someone's got it bad." She winked at her sister before finally deciding to leave them be. "Alright, alright, I'll let you two enjoy your coffee. But remember, I'm always watching."

As Alba walked away, Alexia and Amelia shared a laugh, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement at the encounter. Their connection had become something beautiful, even if it occasionally invited teasing from Alexia's family.

And as they continued their date, hand in hand, they couldn't help but think that, despite the occasional teasing, they were happy to have found something special together, something worth cherishing.

Amelia's birthday was fast approaching, and Alexia had been planning a special surprise for her. She knew that Amelia loved both reading and feeling confident, so she decided to combine those two passions into the perfect birthday gift.

On the morning of Amelia's birthday, Alexia woke up early, her excitement palpable. She had spent weeks carefully selecting the perfect lingerie set and a collection of books she knew Amelia would adore. She wanted this day to be unforgettable.

With the gifts neatly wrapped, Alexia prepared breakfast in bed for Amelia, a tray filled with delicious pastries, fresh fruit, and a steaming cup of coffee. She knew that pampering Amelia was the best way to start the day.

After setting up the tray, Alexia gently shook Amelia awake with soft kisses and whispered birthday wishes. "Happy birthday, my love," she murmured, her eyes filled with affection.

Amelia blinked sleepily, her gaze meeting Alexia's. A sleepy smile tugged at her lips as she took in the romantic breakfast. "Alexia, you didn't have to do all this."

Alexia leaned in to kiss her, her lips lingering against Amelia's. "I wanted to," she whispered. "Now, breakfast in bed for the birthday girl?"

Amelia couldn't help but giggle, feeling incredibly loved and cherished. She sat up as Alexia placed the tray on her lap. They enjoyed their breakfast together, exchanging sweet glances and warm touches.

As they finished, Alexia couldn't contain her excitement any longer. She retrieved the wrapped gifts from the nearby table and handed them to Amelia. "I hope you like these," she said, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Amelia eagerly unwrapped the presents, her heart swelling with gratitude for the thoughtful gesture. When she saw the lingerie set, she blushed but couldn't hide her excitement. "Alexia, this is beautiful."

Alexia grinned, pleased with Amelia's reaction. "I wanted something that would make you feel confident and sexy."

Amelia leaned in to kiss her, her lips soft and appreciative. "You always know how to make me feel special."

But there was more to come. Amelia then opened the collection of books, her eyes lighting up as she saw titles by some of her favorite authors. "These are amazing, Alexia! How did you know?"

Alexia chuckled. "I might have done a little detective work to figure out your favorite authors."

They spent the rest of the morning cuddled up together, sharing sweet moments and savoring the joy of Amelia's birthday. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and meaningful gifts, a reflection of the beautiful connection they had built together. And as the day turned into night, they couldn't help but feel grateful for the love they had found in each other's arms.
