Avya's POV

I was sleeping until I heard mumma's voice as she was shouting .

"Avya wake up Beta! You are going to be late for office!"

As I heard her voice I immediately woke up and saw the time..

"Just one hour left!!" I said and jumped out of the bed.

I came back after doing my morning business changed into my formal clothes and went downstairs.

"Mumma I am ready fast give me breakfast!" I said running downstairs.

I saw my father reading the newspaper

"Morning Papa" I said and sat on the chair beside him.

"Morning Beta!".

My mom came running holding my breakfast.

"Eat it fast!"

I began eating my breakfast hurrily as there was only some time left to reach office.

"Mumma I am leaving bye" 

I left my house and reached to the office by a taxi.

I reached there on time all tired.

"Hey Miss Late.."

I looked at Kabir my very close friend who was standing just in front of me looking very fresh.

"Uhh..again you are calling me that I don't like!"  I said while breathing heavily.

"Well you are.. aren't you?" He said smiling sheepishly.

"Fine fine I am" I went towards my seat and sat there.

"Ok bye going to do my work." He started moving towards his desk.

I started doing my work on my computer until one of the office worker came.

"Mam, boss is calling you in his cabin"

"Boss!? Why?" I asked him as I became tensed.

"I don't know but he had called you in his cabin"

"Oh ok"

I went in the elevator and reached his cabin.

I knocked on the door.

"Come in." A voice came from the other side of the door.

I went inside his cabin which was very cold from the AC and was smelling freaking good!

"Sir did you call me?"

I said looking towards him.

A man in his suit and a handsome face looked towards me.. No Avya no simping on the boss.

"Yeah Avya sit."

I sat on the chair in front of him.

"Well I wanna tell that you are a great worker in our office"

"Thanks, sir"

"So there is a invitation from another company for a party in which we have to bring some of our good employees."

"Oh sir so I have to go there?"

"Yes Avya you and some of the other employees also including Kabir."

"Oh Kabir too?" I said and sighed in relief atleast there will be someone with me.

"Yeah Kabir too.There will be many rich people including CEO like me and Mafias."

"Mafias!?" I really don't like Mafias, a man with his gun always shooting and killing others.

"Yeah what happened Avya?"

"N..nothing sir" I smiled to hide my this disgusting feeling ughh!

"Ok so here is the card and be ready tomorrow evening"

He handed me the invitation card which itself was looking very expensive.

"Oh ok sir."

I came out of his cabin. I was not usual to these rich parties as I am only a so-called ordinary girl!

I went to Kabir and handed him the invitation card.

"You already know about this party right?" I asked Kabir.

"Yeah I knew but I didn't know that you are coming also!" Kabir said looking happy

"Yeah I am also coming.."

"That will be good!"

"Aren't you nervous?" I asked him as he was looking happy but I was very nervous.

"Nervous why?"

"N..nothing"

"Okay then boss is giving us a leave tomorrow"

"Oh ok then it will be good" I said still nervous but smiled and went to my seat.

Hours passed I started packing my stuffs to head back home.

I took the taxi and went back home. I was tired but all the way I was thinking about this party.

"I am home!"

I went inside and sat on the couch all tired.

"Welcome beta!" Papa said.

"Papa where is Sam?"

Sam was not here ugh!! She isn't here when I wanna tell something..My luck!!

"She has gone to buy something she will come back soon!"

"Oh ok I have tell you something."

"What?" My mother said instantly.

"Let Sam come then I will tell you together!"
