"I'm home" I yell as I walk through our front door

"Thank god. You're not allowed to leave me alone ever again" Aspen says hugging me tightly

"Missed me that much?" I chuckle

"Yes. Me and the girls got bored enough to ask Sean and David for something fun to do" she says following me to my room

"You actually asked them for something fun to do?" I ask as I start unpacking my bags

"Yes and just guess what they suggested" she says plopping down on my bed

"You never know with them. What did they suggest?" I ask curiously

"They thought it would be funny if we went streaking. On the beach" she says with the straightest face I've ever seen her make

I had to squeeze my lips together hoping not to make a noise. If there's one thing you can count on with Sean and David? They will make you laugh. Whether it's over something dumb or genuinely funny.

"At least they tried to give you an idea" I say trying not to laugh at her face

"Anyways, how was your trip?" She asks

"It was pretty good actually. I got all my new contracts settled and I have the show coming out in a few days so I found out what interviews are scheduled as well" I tell her

My phone dings as she starts replying. I smile slightly at the text I had just received before fixing my face and sending a quick text back and locking my phone.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" She asks

"What was what?" I ask playing dumb

"That smile" she asks curiously

"That would be Nadia. She made a joke while also making sure I got home safe" I say quickly

She lets it go, continuing on without current conversation. I didn't want her to know yet about the guy that I had been texting. While out in New York, I not only had meetings but me and Nadia did go out to a few parties together. I ended up bumping into this guy. I had spilled my glass of red wine on his white sweater and absolutely embarrassed myself in the process of doing so. By the time the party was over, we had been talking the entire night. Before we had both departed, he asked for my number and had been texting me since I'd gotten on the plane to fly home.

"I was thinking we could stay in tonight? You've been traveling a lot and I think a night in could do us both some good" she says sitting up from the bed

"Honestly, that sounds perfect" I tell her

"Good. Pizza is on the way, change into your pajamas, and when you're done, come in the living room so we can watch a movie"
