Dylan Cameron

"How are you enjoying your party?" The girls ask

They all come over to the booth I was sitting at. I needed a break from all the walking and conversing. Especially since these heels I were wearing were new and made my feet feel as if they were going to fall off.

"I love it. Thank you guys" I tell them

"Of course. Now you are needed on the dance floor" Isabel says trying to pull me up

"You've gotta give me a minute. These heels are killing Me" I say un looping them and throwing them to the side

"Better?" Aspen questions

"Much" I say as they pull me to the floor

As soon as we step on the dance floor, 'dance the night' starts playing. I laugh as the girls start doing the same choreography from the Barbie movie. I follow along with them as a bigger space is cleared for us to dance.

"This is so cheesy" I say giggling

"But in the best way" Rain says playfully

"Okay ladies, it's my turn" michael says walking up and grabbing my hands

I smile as he bring me closer and spins me. 'Are you bored yet' then starts playing as other couples join along with us dancing.

"Are you enjoying your birthday?" He asks as we continue to sway

"Very much so. Thank you for coming. It's been nice getting to hang out with you" I tell him

"The feeling is mutual. I know you said you weren't ready to take anything a step further but I'm glad you've given me the chance to hangout and get to know you better" he says smiling

I can feel myself blush a little as he spins me again. The song ends as the next begins to play. 'Rich baby daddy' then starts blasting through the speakers.

"Oh, this is your favorite song!" Aspen yells

She then starts dancing with me as I sing along. Everyone else then joins us as we dance together.

"It's almost time for your birthday shots" Chris tells me

"Birthday shots?" I question confused

"You have exactly twenty-two shots to finish before midnight. You've already had seven and now, you have seventeen left" Isabel explains

Sean and David then bring over two trays with these so called birthday shots.

"Ready? Set! Go!"

••••

"Dylan! Seriously come on!" I hear David yell

I don't listen as I continue running around the house trying to avoid having to go lay down.

"You've gotta catch me first" I yell back playfully

I can hear him groan as I continue to run through our very spacious house.

"I've got her" michael says before he starts chasing after me

I almost stop in my tracks before thinking of a place to hide.

"Dylan? Come on, I got you some birthday cake" michael says trying to bribe me

"That's it?" I question from the other side of the counter

"I may or may not have the Percy Jackson movies ready to play in your room whenever you're ready to go watch" he tells me

I pout. He knew I loved those books and the movie. They were definitely in my top ten.

"Fine" I say rolling my eyes

He grabs my hand and drags me to my room. He indeed had his laptop setup with the Percy Jackson movie ready to go whenever I was ready to play it.

"Go change and I'll grab the cake" he chuckles

I grab a pair of sweatpants and a shirt that has butterflies on it. I change quickly and then wash my face as best as I could. Those shots were definitely hitting me now. I groan before making my way back to my room.

"Where's my cake?"

••••

I groan as the sunlight starts showing through my blinds. I grab my sunglasses off my nightstand, trying to help dim the lights a little.

"Did you really wake up just to put your sunglasses on?" Michael chuckles

I turn to see him sleeping on the floor on an air mattress.

"Why are you sleeping on the floor?" I ask with my voice sounding hoarse

"Because I was being respectful" he tells me

I nod in a bit of surprise by his answer. It falls silent as he continues starring at me. I hold his stare until the bedroom door is thrown open and Aspen walks in looking a little annoyed.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Woah, why does your voice sound like that?" She asks taken aback

"I'm not sure but my throat is a little scratchy but what's wrong?" I ask her again

"Gavin's downstairs freaking out a little" she tells me

"Why is he freaking out?" I ask confused

"Ayla left him last night"
