EVANGELINA
———————————

Getting Asahi his birthday present was not as easy because we were together all the time.

Like right now. We were going to the beach. I specifically requested for Asahi to teach me how to swim. We literally live next to the sea back home but now that we have this opportunity, why not learn here?

The wedding was three days ago and I had a small amount of time to get Asahi away from me.

For the past few days that we had free time, we have traveled to the nearest cities and experienced more than I was expecting.

We also visited parties, all kinds of restaurants, Cafes, museums...

"Are you ready?" Asahi's steps got closer to the bathroom.

I struggle to tie the bikini top and let out a sigh in frustration.

"Lina..." His voice trailed off as he stopped at the door. His hands were up, placed on the frame, and navy blue shorts were hanging low on his hips.

A laugh broke through my lips at his face. The look in his eyes darkened and he ranked them down my body.

I was standing only in bikini bottoms and I was holding the top clutched to my body.

"Can you help me?" I asked and turned around. When I didn't feel him get closer, I chuckled.

"Asahi you can stare later, please help me now." I heard him clear his throat and heard his steps on the tiled floor.

His fingers trailed down my back and I pulled away from him. "That tickles."

A hand wrapped around my waist and he tugged me closer to him. His lips found my shoulder and he kissed me a few times.

He then slowly tied the bikini top and his hands stayed on my hips. In the meantime, I grabbed a scrunchy and tied my hair up in a messy ponytail.

I ranked my eyes over my figure and after I was satisfied, I shifted and faced Asahi.

"You got a little color." He said as he ran his finger over my nose and cheek.

Because we were in the sun the whole time, my face had more color and my freckles were way more visible which Asahi specifically liked.

"You look sun-kissed." He murmured.

I smiled cheekily and said. "Yeah, I'm sun-kissed." His eyebrows pinched together in confusion, trying to understand what I mean.

"Your name, sun, morning sun. I was sun-kissed." I explained further and he rolled his eyes playfully with a grin that defined his dimples.

"I know it was a terrible joke."

"Yes, it was." He agreed just to annoy me.

"And you are mean." I pretend to punch his chest in slow motion.

A beautiful laugh escaped his lips and before I could register what was happening, I was hoisted over his shoulder.

"Asahi, what are you doing?" It was something he did that made me giggle. Pick me up out of nowhere.

"We have to go." I hummed and stayed in his hands. I poked his butt and chuckled before he let me down.

I picked up the bag and threw on a simple summer dress over my bikini. We took everything we needed and left.

We got in the car and drove off. Apparently, Asahi new a beautiful beach where there were not a lot of people. Which suited me well because I didn't want to embarrass myself while trying to learn how to swim.
