Selene was very proud of Riot for marrying such a handsome businessman.

Cronus was sickeningly rich- so booking three people a flight to Guatemala barely put a dent in his wallet. It was like trying to punch concrete with your bare hands.

She had no intention of abusing his wealth- but she knew it'd be better than walking across a continent.

As expected, though, Ullr was incredibly infuriated about using man-made technology to reach a destination. Selene spent a good 15 minutes having to convince her Nordic husband to suck up his pride for her sake temporarily.

Nords are extremely prideful men. They stick to their traditions and what they know closely- so asking them to 'suck it up' is like throwing a pebble at a hungry bear.

What makes things worse?

The third person joining them on their trip is a werecat.

To Selene's surprise and misery- a beloved pack member was a werecat named Tigress. Her real name was Azucena, but she renamed herself, hoping to forget her past life.

This is where her husband came into play. Her introduction to the werecat was relatively rough, so he did most of the talking.

Bless his cold heart; he's trying.

Tigress was a tough warrior, usually scowling just like her eldest niece, but they got along very nicely after their rocky introduction. For the entire flight- they talked like old friends.

Ullr, of course, spent most of the time brooding.

They landed in Guatemala, Flores.

Tigress knew a pride lived nearby Tikal, an aged ruin constantly visited by tourists. Lake Petén Itza was a popular tourist destination, so three strangers added to the mix wasn't anything suspicious. Oh, this werecat is so smart!

Everything was going fantastic. Soon, they'd be able to contact a pride to reach Inti.

That was... until they got closer and closer to Tikal.

"¡Eres enorme!"
[You are huge!]

"¿De dónde es usted?"
[Where are you from?]

Ullr had attracted plenty of attention- from tourists and natives alike.

He flexed his jaw, glancing amongst people constantly blocking his way to ask outrageous questions. He was decked out in Nordic tattoos, muscular as Zeus, and 7'2. Of course he was interesting!

Seems everyone else loved this man as much as Selene.

Ullr definitely didn't want to tell them he was a Nord. "... Tutchone." He'd say, hoping to quell their curiosity. "I'm a... Northern Tutchone."

Selene huffed as she put her hands on her hips. He'd wince at the sight of her pouting- knowing that she wordlessly told him he made things worse. Now that they knew he was unique, they'd want nothing but to ask more questions!

A tourist was in awe, gesturing to the search term on their phone. "Tutchones are one of the Native Americans of Canada!"

People oohed and awed at the colossal man.

"We're wasting time." Tigress' low Spanish accent whispered in her ear, patting the goddess' shoulder.

The woman was taller and much more muscular than Selene. Her dark orange wolf-cut bounced, strands wavering before striking green eyes.

"He's overwhelmed," Selene responded with a frown.

The werecat huffed. Tigress struts toward the crowd- loudly clapping her hands. "¡Deja al pobre hombre en paz!" She'd yowl, "¡Es un hombre, no un animal salvaje!"
[Leave the poor man alone!] - [He is a man, not a wild animal!]

Her threatening aura and Spanish yelling were enough to make people shoo. Their awestriken glances were as present as ever, but at least Ullr can walk now.

Jogging up to her husband- Selene tugged on his larger hand and dragged him down the cobbled pathway.

"What is up with these people?" Ullr hissed, squeezing her hand lovingly. "Ut'otent'i... Dan ihyááhodhät." The god whispered in Northern Tutchone.
[God... I'm angry.]

"They're just curious." She softly retorted.

Ullr scoffed, "Just because of a tall nän'ín?"
[Bushman?]

Poor baby. He spoke more Tutchone when he was upset.

Tigress caught up to them, leading the couple toward specific pathways. "You're tall and different." She'd dust off her black shorts, "I was just as curious- especially when I found out you're a literal god."

Ullr appeared to understand finally. Selene could tell through his begrudged expression and silence.

Selene also got a fair amount of attention- but white hair wasn't nearly as fascinating as a brick wall of a man who could bench-press a truck. It wasn't every day that he went into civilized places with humans.

Getting further from the busy crowds and ogling eyes, much to Selene's jealous relief, Tigress was leading them closer toward the popular lake.

Much to Tigress's dismay, she suffered through Selene's babying and comforting her prickly husband.
