I know there's death and its a difficult quadrant, but it seems weird to start each morning reading the names of whoever died the day before. I mean, it's still a college. So before class they get sad remembering their dead peers? Or is it a tool to make them stronger? If they're entering wars and battles some will die. I'm not saying it doesn't make sense to weed out the weaker, survival of the fittest and all.
We get some more information about the signet powers from dragons. Every dragon gives their riders different abilities. we've seen other magic in play with mage lights and such, so I wonder how deep the magic system of this world goes.
more sexual tension with Dain, is this just every interaction with them? But it's juxtaposed with drama from Xaden. She runs from him as ordered by Dain and then that's it, end of chapter. Nothing happened.
