So for a few chapters she's repeated "I will not die today." Is there a purpose for this repetition? Is it for her sake, or ours?
We keep getting sentence-long memories reminiscing on her childhood with Dain.
Her protecting the golden dragon because it is weak reflects on her character. She will stand up for those that cannot. Or maybe it is mirroring her standing up for herself.
