Last chapter and we get a perspective switch. Switching to Xaden's perspective does make it feel like an epilogue. I don't feel like it was too different, though. It was the same voice, which is on Yarros for not creating a different internal voice for Xaden that clearly differentiated himself from Violet.
I did not predict that Brennan would still be alive. I wasn't exactly shocked, just surprised.
