Venin confirmed. Saw that coming but I still like the concept of different magical beings that are being kept secret.
Xaden wants the fliers to keep details from the dragon riders. This can be smart, the less people that know, the less risky.
I don't quite get how they didn't see themselves getting set up here. Only marked ones went in this mission, even though it was for a test for their school. They were going to use it for a disguise for their own meeting, with convenient timing. Again.
Who is making the weapons they're trading? Xaden got daggers commissioned for Violet, so potentially the same people. Are they also in league with the marked ones, or else how would they not know materials were being depleted?
Xaden concealed the truth from Violet, this is a little different from lying. This will be a sticky thing to work out between them because he didn't technically lie but he didn't trust her with the truth. He also has 107 other people who are counting on him and come before she does. I would be upset with the situation, but he had good intentions for his own people.
