Chapter 33. Who are you

After Jungkook came out, he quickly drove to the hospital. He didn't go there a lot these few days. She was alone in the hospital and he even took away her phone, so who knew how bored she was.

After he pushed open the door, she was sitting on a chair by the window, looking outside. There was a book in her hands but her eyes were not on it.

Jungkook walked towards her and asked her with a slightly hoarse voice, "Have you eaten?"

Lisa nodded. He stretched out his hand to hold her hand so he could feel her temperature, but Lisa avoided it.

Jungkook's hand was frozen in mid-air.

"I've eaten." Lisa's voice sounded cold. Pain came because of anticipation.

Jungkook bent down and looked at her. His eyes looked red as he hadn't slept much for days.

Ignoring her struggles, he grabbed her hand tightly and placed it on his face.

"I'm sorry."

Tears flashed in Lisa's eyes. She'd waited for a long time and she didn't see this man who promised to accompany her to come over to see her. Perhaps he had his reasons or had something important to do.

But to understand and to feel sad were two completely different things.

She shook her head lightly. Illness could really torture someone to become so weak that she couldn't accept even a little suffering.

After she adjusted her emotions, she looked at him.

"I'm fine, have you eaten?" Lisa asked him.

Jungkook shook his head.

"Then go and eat some. Go see if there's anything left in the kitchen, or we can order food."

"Alright." He stood up and went to the kitchen to cook porridge. He poured a bowl for Lisa.

"I've already eaten."

"Eat more." Jungkook looked at her with a serious face while still holding the bowl.

Lisa took it from him.

The next two days, he accompanied her while waiting for the court to file the case.

The second day, the news that was covered up previously suddenly shot to the headlines.

Jungkook was stunned and called his father.

"Dad, is it you who pushed it up to the headlines?"

"Not me." Yu Liansheng had been following their news closely as well, but he hadn't considered doing anything with the headlines.

Jungkook frowned, "It can't be Meng Zhao and the guys, they'll tell me if anything happens. It's also impossible to be Bai Zhui, he will not act unless necessary."
