Matteo and Romeo are arguing about me.

"I can tell them to stop." Emilio looks up.

"It's funny." I keep colouring with him.

Romeo is over the moon estatic that I agreed to marry Arturo, whereas Matteo is refusing to allow it because I am not 'in the right state of mind.'

Emilio sighs anyways, standing up and walking to the kitchen. "She is right next door. Instead of taking it upon yourself to choose for her what she would like, ask her." He shouts, then walks back in.

I smile. "You're gonna make such a great husband one day."

He smiles back. "Shame I won't be capo hm?"

"You're too empathetic." I sit up, looking at my two brothers walking in.

"You're not in the right state of mind to be making decisions about marriage, Ilaria. You're angry at Asahi, rightfully so, but you don't even like Arturo." Matteo says.

"Arturo is your best option." Romeo argues. "And you already agreed."

I sit on the couch. "You're both right."

"That does not help us, sister." Romeo sits on the other couch.

"I think she should just wait." Emilio stands up. "So does Alessio, and mom, and dad, and Asher and Roman- Majority wins!"

"At least start going back on dates with Arturo."

"Sure." I smile. "Now, can we stop talking and arguing about my miserable love life?"

"It's not miserable, it's just challenged." Matteo stands up. "I have to work. Goodbye."

As soon as the door closes, Romeo looks at me. "We're sending him to rehab."

"He doesn't get a say in the matter, does he?" I know it's for the better.

"Asher will be with him." He stands up. "Who is going house shopping with you?"

"Mamma, Luca and the twins."

"Okay. See you all later." He leaves.

Thirty minutes later, we leave as well.

I want a relatively small house, but there are some must haves.

A very large walk in closet, the closet has to be at least the same size as the bedroom. My bathroom needs a bathtub and the main bedroom has to have a balcony.

obviously, we look in wealthy neighbourhoods, preferably with another house close by for sale that my bodyguards can live in. Or enough space in the backyard for us to build an outhouse.

The first couple of houses we viewed weren't the best.

The twins were complaining that they hungry but we had 6 more houses to go.

"I'll get us food. Park up."

Luca parks up and I walk into taco bell.

Why is he everywhere?

Asahi looks at me, then looks back at the worker and continues speaking.

"What can I get for you ma'am." Someone else asks.

I list off all my families orders, pay and wait.

Asahi stops in front of me. "You still mad at me?"

"I don't think it will ever go away."

He tilts up my chin so I'm looking at him.

Just like he did before.

"I'm sorry."

"Your apology doesn't mean shit." I look dead in his eyes. "Now let go of me before I break your wrist."

He sighs, letting go and walking away.

I wait for the food, walk back to the car and we eat as they drive to the next house. This one was close by to Matteo's house.

A lot of land.

I made my decision when I walked in and saw the closet was massive and had a mirror custom built to be the same size as a wall.

It ticked all my other boxes too.

It even had a safe room in the basement.

"I like this one. I don't even wanna look at the others." I say to mama's.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. There's enough land as well to built an out house for a few men to stay, but even if they want to sleep in here they can." It's 7 bedrooms.

"Okay." She kisses my head.

I let her and Luca take care of all the paperwork as Alessio and Emilio fight over which room they're going to 'claim' for when they have sleepovers.

After an insane amount of time, Luca walks to me. "We'll get all your stuff from the penthouse tomorrow and move it down here, then set up the security systems and... 30 men enough to decorate?"

"Should be, thank you." I hug him.

"Asahi walked out of taco bell after you walked in."

"I don't want to talk about him."

He understands, helping me plan where I'm going to put everything.

The next day, we get informed that Matteo will be doing the big bust of trafficking victims. And they need all hands on deck.

Naturally, I make my way over to Xena's house and begin prepping for the arrival of what I'm assuming with be hundreds of victims.

He was here again, which isn't shocking because his work is based here, but he was lingering around the living room when he had no reason to be.

A pretty blonde girl walks in, handing him some files to which he reads while his body is pointed towards me.

I roll my eyes, getting up and walking to the backyard.

He's going to move back to Chicago soon.

Maybe i'll be able to get over him then.

He walks outside to. "Let's talk."

"No." I sigh.

"Ilaria, I need your help." He stands by the door. "I believe Arturo has Akahana. I've been denied access for a search warrant, I need you to help me find her."

"Why should I?"

"Because you're not a bad person."

"No, I'm just dangerous."

"Ilaria." He takes a step closer. "Please. Help me find Akahana and I swear, you'll never see my face again."

"Arturo promised me he didn't have her." I look into his eyes. "He swore to me that he didn't take her. You even said she's always been rogue so maybe start looking into that."

He just shakes his head, scoffing and walking away.
