Y/n looked at the doctor's eyes seriously, waiting for him to say everything honestly. "Y/n, you see-"

"Just be honest." The doctor looked up at her and sighed. "6 months at most." She smiled softly and nodded. "Thank you for helping me over the years, Dr. Namjoon."

He smiled at him and fixed his white coat. "Not a problem, sweet cheeks."

"Can I ask you something?" He nodded, signalling her to continue. "Your family owns a pub at Las Vegas, right?" She asked and he squinted his eyes.

"I don't want to die a virgin." She mumbled, earning a chuckle from him. "You don't have to go all the way to Las Vegas to lose your virginity-"

"I want to travel the world before I die. I also want to drink alcohol a few days before I die. Maybe a week or so and then get laid. I never tried them." She cut him off and he sighed as he looked up at her, a smirk resting on his face.

"When you plan the trip, just send me the date you'll visit Las Vegas, sweet cheeks."

The door bell chimed when the person entering the cafe pushed on the door, his eyes scanning the area until it landed on the familiar person, his own lips curving up into a big smile as he strolled over to the table before hugging the sitting figure on the chair.

"Yeah, yeah. Get over with it, Jungkook."

Y/n mumbled patting his arm who pouted and released her before taking a seat right opposite to hers. "Why are we meeting in a cafe though? Are you skipping your lectures?" He asked, looking at the time on his Rolex.

Y/n smiled slightly when the waiter came in with two cups of Latte. Jungkook smiled sweetly, thanking the waiter but then thanking Y/n who already ordered before he arrived.

She motioned him to drink who hesitantly sipped on the beverage, blinking his eyes at the unsettling vibe he was getting from her. Both of them finished the drink and Jungkook placed his hands on the table, eyeing her suspiciously.

"What is it, Y/n?"

She pressed her lips, keeping the large envelope on the table and Jungkook's jaw dropped. "Wait! Marriage invitation? You're already getting married to him? No! Isn't this too fast?" He asked, looking at the envelope and then at her with amazement but she rolled her eyes.

"Look inside first." She insisted and he curiously took the envelope before finding documents inside it. He started reading them but then expressions changed in a variation of time. From shock, to sadness, then anger.

He glared at her, mouth still open due to the surprise. "What is this?" He fumbled upon his words, lips quivering as he stared into her eyes, looking for an explanation but she sighed, making his heart break into millions of pieces.

A tear rolled down his eye but he quickly wiped it, reading the medical reports further. "You never told me about it." He whispered and she hummed.

"You cannot expect me to go around and announce to the world that I'm sick and might die at any moment." She reasoned but Jungkook put the documents down, immediately getting up from his seat and moving his chair to sit right beside her.

He held her hands softly, looking into her blank eyes with his glistening ones as he breathed slowly. "Is this why you kept rejecting my proposals, Y/n?" She nodded and he lowered his head, looking down at their hands.

She squeezed his hands with hers and moved forward to place her neck on the crown of his head but he proceeded to hold back his tears, releasing her hands and hugging her waist before hiding his face in her neck.

He deeply breathed, trying to hold in his sobs but pulled back to look at her smiling at him. "It's alright, Jungkook. I wanted you to be the first one to know about this. You've been an essential part of my life." She said but he smiled, eyes burning red as he tilted his head.

"But you still don't love me." He said but she immediately shook her head. "I do."

"But not as much as Jin, right?" She looked at him with big eyes when he asked her the question and she nodded. "You're right."

"Why do you love him so much even in such a short time?" He asked and she smiled at him. "Because Jin didn't just look at me. He saw me. The me that's underneath a million layers of not me. It felt good. Kind of reminds me how a mom would see you and love you just for that. And all you have to do is just sit there and exist."

Jungkook's eyes softened at her words. "Is that how you imagine your mom would see you?" She shrugged casually. "I hope so."

"He doesn't know about your illness?" He asked. "He knows. But not the time stamp." She replied and he looked down.

"Six months, Y/n. I only get to feel your hugs for six more months." He said and she moved forth to hug him gently. He couldn't hold back as he wrapped his arms around her figure. "Jungkook?" He hummed in her embrace.

"I have a favour to ask of you." She told him and he pulled back to look at him, nodding his head. "Anything for you."

"Your billionaire dad has plenty of connections, right?" He nodded to that. "A fake ID card, visas and connections to comfortable hotels. I saved a lot of money but I still don't think so it'll be enough to travel-"

"Just name the locations and I'll take you there, princess." JungKook announced but she shook her head, holding his hands. "I'm travelling with Jin." She said and his smile faltered but he understood, agreeing to help her. "I love you, Y/n. You know that, right?" She nodded, a sad smile on her face. "I love you too, Jungkook. As a special person in my life." She said and continued, eyes looking at the small white envelope in her hands,

"That is why I want to ask one last favour from you, Jungkook. But that is after I die."
