karna's struggle: fulfilling the destiny

Next Course of Action

Sahadev was astonished to see a system of interconnected rooms each furnished upto a certain extent with books , clothes, weapons, bed and chairs, the collection of books was quite interesting and behind the rooms/caves their was a flowing water and some trees with fruits on them ,if someone wanted they could live here for years without anyone knowing.

Shakti started to stir a bit in her sleep ,and mumbled incoherent words, karna immediately came towards her and putting a hand on her forehead, comforted her ,

" Anuja , calm down ,everything is alright ! I am here , your dada is here, everything is fine....you can go back to sleep now."

As if she has heard her brother's assuring words , shakti went back to sleep.

Sahadev was looking towards karna with so many questions on his face.

"What is it Anuj, do you want to ask me something?" Said karna.

"Is it showing on my face...yes I do...I have so many questions!" Replied sahadev.

"Ask away brother, I will try to answer them as much as I am able to." Said karna.

"What is going on dada,I mean why are we doing all this and why so much secrecy, I want to tell everyone how much you two has helped us and how good you are,but I can't!!!!"

"I understand Anuj but somethings should be left as they are , bringing them to light ,may set everything on fire."

"How could revealing goodness and good deeds set everything ablaze ! "

"Because people do not want to see the good in someone of lower status,that is the harsh reality of society,Anuj."

"It is very sad......and dada ,why did we do this ,what was the need to act like that you kidnapped me,what was the purpose of all this!"

"Well only the person who asked us to do this,can answer these questions." Replied karna motioning towards sleeping form of shakti.

"I don't understand ,dada, what could be the reason behind doing all this?"

"I heard you have a great quality ,you can foresee future in a way, is that true?"

"Yes it is ...what I mean to say is that I cannot see exact future but I get these feelings about the outcome of certain events, whether they will bring good or bad but how did you know this ,only few family members know about this as I cannot talk about this with anyone."

"If I tell you that shakti told me about this and about other qualities of your brothers,would you believe me? She has some powers herself , she knows many things about future and if she asks us to do something ,it is for a good cause , believe me that's true."

"So does she have a boon or something like that, similarly as you have powers of protection like your kavach and kundals? Did you two get those as boon from the gods?"asked sahadev with curiosity.

"Dev ,my kavach and kundals are with me since birth ,yes they are given to me for protection by Surya Narayan himself ( who is also my celestial father,he thought) and I am very thankful to him but for shakti's powers ,I don't really know about them, but ever since she became my sister ,she have had these powers and as I promised her that I will not ask about them ,I did not ,I only have faith and belief in her."

"What do you mean by ever since she became your sister, I am she is your sister!"

"Yes, she is my sister in every sense other then blood relation,but it does not matter, I may have adopted her as Radha ma and adhirath baba adopted me but I am glad that she is my sister."

"What.....so you are also adopted, I mean don't get me wrong but your family is so loving and caring, no one can imagine that you are adopted family. "

"Yes ,we are ! We love each other very much and it does not matter to us that we are not blood related, we are connected by our hearts and emotions."

"And I am a part of those emotions also, right dada!"asked sahadev.

"Ofcourse you are , you are a part of my family."

"Thank you dada,I love you too......can I ask you something else?"

"Yes ,dev you can ask me anything, but I would be able to answer or not ,that I am not sure about."

"Dada ,do you know who your real family is?"

"Somethings are better remain unanswered, Anuj" replied karna.

Sahadev understood that he should not ask anymore.

Sometime latter shakti woke up ,she was feeling much better now.

Karna was cooking some sweet potatoes and other vegetables on the fire ,while Sahadev was waiting patiently for food , he was very hungry.

"Something smells tasty, I am starving,is that for me dada?"she asked getting up .

Karna ana sahadev looked towards her and went near her,

"Are you alright,how are you feeling Anuja?"asked karna worried,while Sahadev checked her temperature.

I am fine my dear brothers, don't worry so much, or you two will get grey hairs prematurely.
