"Wow...and how do you keep all this stuff in your head, along with all the other information you know?"

" I just tend to know things, my dear.." I mutter, having the tip of my finger on his chin, she shivers with surprise.

"So, shall we read the first one?"  He says shyly.

"Couldn't agree more."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We read the first book and I'm not kissing when I say he's kicking his feet for Eric.
"How could he be so romantic but such an asshole?!"
"I know, right?! It's crazy to me too."
"Let's see what comes next, now they have to kiss for the newspaper!"
Damn, he's more into this than me.
After reading half of this book (which is my resting point because I need my brain to focus on something else), Jacob is also tired.
"I LOVED this first half and I bet I'll love the second half but can we start with the Hello Kitty lego set?" he begs playfully, giving me the puppy eyes.
"Oh no! The puppy dog eyes, AHH! It's too cute...can't resist..." I say, going along with his act.
I get the Lego set ready to build but Jacob seems...distressed?
All of a sudden, he looks like he's about to implode, something is wrong, really wrong.
So I ask him about it.
"Hey Jakie?  Are you alright?  Is it the Legos? We don't have to build anymore if it's stressful"--
"Yeah, no, I'm fine!  It isn't the Legos I promise.  Just a bit...stressed, that's all.  I'll be right back but you stay here and build, my cute little helper!" he explained.
I don't quite believe him..something's off about him, I can feel it.
I go follow him in the bathroom and see him pull out a pill bottle called "Mendroxina" from his medicine cabinet.  I hurriedly tiptoed back to his bedroom to Google what the medication is prescribed for.
"Mostly known for schizophrenia and patients with delusional mental disabilities.  These pills might help with 'the voices' going away but might affect the patient's perception of reality and memory.  Please keep out unless needed or prescribed to you by a psychiatrist."
Huh...hallucination pills? Why would Jacob need those?
"Whatcha looking up?"
HOLY MOTHER OF THE NUTCRACKER!
I close the tab and close the computer quickly, afraid he saw what I researched.
"Oh nothing! Just...Googling 'Cool Math Games' "
"Well, why don't we continue on Hello Kitty before you go home?"
I nod in agreement and hug him out of the blue.
"You're so cuddly! Now let's get back to work."
"I'm sorry."
"For what, honey?"
"For not knowing sooner."
"It's fine, honey!  You couldn't have known I had feelings for you unless I told you!"
I laugh with him, but I feel like such an idiot for not knowing he was going through this alone.
