So I just relized that the pic that was supposed to be in the last chapter has magicly dissapeared.  So I went back to find it and . . . well no such luck since I don't remember what I used.  So it's just a fncy looking eye inside of a circle.

Chapter 15

Emi was looking up at the mansion in fear.

A few minutes ago, something cold and bone-chilling had drifted through the area.  It was so thick that it was almost visible in the air.

Emi fell to her knees, arms at her side, eyes wide.  The other Akatsuki members looked over at her, and Leader walked in front of her.  "Emi?  What's the matter?"  His brows narrowed together in worry making the lines on his forehead visible.

She didn't move, not so much as a twitch.  Something was up, and she knew what it was, who it was.

Itachi knelt down in front of her and called out to her softly, "Emi . . . look at me," she didn't budge "you're Sensei is fine." Her head snapped in his direction making eye contact.

They stood staring at each other for a minute, having a silent conversation between the two of them.

He sighed, then stood looking at Leader before replying, "she's in some kind of shocked state, so I can't get into her mind at the moment.  I would put her to sleep but it would take to long in her state."

"Here . . . Let me," Sasori walked up to her taking a cloth and putting some chloroform onto it, before covering her nose and mouth with it.  Emi panicked slightly before her eyes fluttered closed, and her body limp.

Hidan stood staring at the mansion, and his hands turned to fists, making his knuckles turn white.  His mouth was in a firm line, then turned into a snarl, "Miyaka, what the fuck are you doing?  Are you trying to destroy the small town near here?"

The members looked at him shocked "Hidan," Leader started "do you know what that dark, cold feeling in the air is?" he looked at him, then stated firmly "If we all don't get out of here we are all going to die."

                                                                           ~*~

Kantou had his sword out again, but instead of using it for offensive purposes, he's been using it as a defense.  She hadn't even let him do anything except block . . . barley.  He knew she was playing with him, otherwise, he would be dead by now.

The tip of the sword was embedded in the floor standing vertically.  He was crouched behind it peeking over the end of the blade just before the handle.

He had beads of sweat dripping down his face, and his breathing was shaky while trying not to feel intimidated by her energy that was seeping out of her body.

Something in his head was telling him to get away as fast as he could, but he had to keep her close.   How else was he supposed to get into the secret room in the temple?  Only her family could get into it. Her heritage.  Her blood.  It had to be her and no one else.

Something hit the sword hard making a large gash along the floor.  He looked around the sword after he stopped, she had her fist out as if she threw an attack at him.

He knew as long as the sword was out she wouldn't come into close contact with him, but now all of Miyaka's Jutsu were eighty percent more powerful than they had ever been.

"Kantou ..." he looked up over the sword, and her eyes were no longer glowing, "I'm only going to ask once more, stop trying to get me to work for you."  He looked closely at her, he had to watch his words.  It seemed like Miyaka was in control at the moment, but it could easily change.  She was on edge, and that usually met danger.  'Run for your life' kinda danger.

"You're too special to me to let you go," he shrunk back behind the sword slightly "so I can't."  She closed her eyes and opened them again, and they glowed bright green and her smile turned dangerous again.  Run get out of here.  He could basically hear his fear at the back of his mind.

"Well, that was your last chance, you know," her voice was echoing with dark energy which made a chill go down his spine and the hair on his neck stand up.  "Well, now I'm going to kill you . . . slowly."

Miyaka pushed off the balls of her feet and basically flew towards him.  Once she was close enough she landed with her feet on the side of the sword, then putting chakra into her feet she pushed, making the swords fly out of Katou's hands.  Sadly to his surprise.

His eyes changed from shock to fear if that was even possible since he was terrified already.  Once she landed, swinging one foot around, she kicked him in the stomach making him go flying down the hall.

Her kick had so much force that he had coughed up some blood.  He hit the wall at the end making it crack around him in the design of a spider web.  Looking to the side,  His sword was lodged in the wall parallel to the ground.  He lifted his arm grabbing onto the handle weakly from the force of hitting the wall.

She started to walk towards him with taunting steps.  Kantou tried to pull it out but he just coughed up blood which splattered in front of him on the floor.

She stopped as she was about twenty feet from him lifting up her hand, palm facing him.  Her eyes were dangerous.  Scary.  And most of all, blood-thirsty.

Then suddenly her hand and started to shake, her eyes were flickering.  It was like she was fighting something within herself.  Her eyes shut tight in a nasty scowl.

"Miyaka, stop it! He won't give up he's just going to cause you pain.  Let me get rid of him.  He  has the key!"

'Akuma, I'm not going to let you kill him!'

Miyaka was the one inside Akuma's mind now, but she could still control her body if needed like she was doing now.

Kantou subconsciously grabbed onto the gear necklace that he was wearing.  It was on a bronze chain, with little green stones in the positions of north, east, south and west, then the main stone in the middle was also green but it was three or four time as big and had a black water drop in the middle.

His family always had it, it was passed down from generation from generation, and he wouldn't let anyone have it.

Suddenly he gained some strength and pulled the sword out of the wall and slowly standing.  He broke apart the sword and charged at her while she was fighting 'herself.'

Once he was close enough he jumped above her about to swing, and her eyes snapped open at the last second just as he brought it down.  Suddenly he was thrown backward with a sudden force.

He slid along the floor coming to a halt and looking up at her from his crouching position.  "So, Miyaka," he stood painfully as blood dripped from his mouth to his chin onto the floor.  "You're going to use your top abilities now, huh?"

Miyaka's body now had a barrier around her body like another layer of skin.  You could see the rippling effect it was making after throwing Kantou.

This battle had just become more intense, and they both knew it.

So I'v decided to make the chapters shorter with more updates, instead of longer chapters with longer to wait.

Don't get me wrong I love reading and making long chapters but I know what it's like to wait a long time for an update.
