Chapter 09- Patrol

Ned and Peter were working on spider tech in Peter's new room and they were also trying to track down Ben's killer at the same time.

They were working on a camera that could attach onto the side of Peter's goggles so that Ned could see while Peter was out on the streets. They already had the equipment due to Peter being into photography, so it only took them a couple of minutes.

After they had attached the camera Ned had gotten an idea for something.

"Dude!" Ned abruptly exclaimed

"Dude!" Peter said just as loud

"Dude!"

"Dude!"

"Dude!

"Why are we saying dude!" Peter exclaims when he got annoyed with Ned

"Because I got a really good idea!" Ned says with a big smile

But before Peter could get a chance to talk they heard and loud banging on the door then a voice came through the door

"Both of you need to be quiet! It is getting late for goodness sakes!" May shouted through the door

"Sorry!" They both said quickly

Peter then turned towards Ned and spoke up

"What is your good idea?"

"A web grenade, I don't know how we are going to make one but we got the webs and the chemicals." Ned says with a evil smile

"Dude we are only going after Ben's killer that's it." Peter says

"Pete you got powers! Doesn't that not make you want to go out on the streets and help people." Ned says

"That is what the police force is for not a 15 year old kid." Peter says as he sits on his bed

"First of all you don't turn 15 for a couple of months and second, take this for an example, if I can get your powers and I can do the things that you can, but I don't and then the bad things happen, I had the ability to save people... but I didn't and that got people hurt or killed maybe both. You can be a hero Peter, not a lot of people have powers and if I could be a hero I would, but I can't but I will be more than happy to see my best friend as a hero." Ned finished his speech with a big inhale and tries to read Peter's facial expression but couldn't read it.

"If I am going to be a hero I need a name." Peter says with a chuckle which also made Ned chuckle

"What about Spider-Man?" Ned suggested to which Peter liked it and nodded his head in approval

Then all of a sudden Peter's laptop what Ned was using to track down Ben's killing started to beep rapidly.

"I don't want to alarm you but that might be Ben's killer." Ned said as he seen Peter looking at the Laptop and as soon as Peter heard that, Peter was over at the laptop under 2 seconds what was across the room.

"Superhuman agility noted." Ned said as he walked over to the laptop

"Got him." Peter said quietly but loud enough for Ned to hear and Peter then started to put his suit on.

As he finished putting his suit on he started to double check his web cartridges then he looked at Ned and spoke up

"You ready for your first day as my guy in the chair?" Peter asks him

"Yes!" Ned's voice echoed through the room which was extremely loud for Peter.

"Dude! I think all of my senses are dialled up to 8 or round about that so don't do that again!" Peter shouted at Ned as Peter started making his way to the window
