As the quinjet landed, a SHIELD team walked in and started to escort Loki to his cell while Peter, Steve, Thor and Natasha went to the control room and sat at a table to watch a monitor of Fury talking to Loki.
'In case it's unclear, if you try to escape, if you so much as scratch that glass.' Fury then presses a button on a monitor that was on the side, which makes a hatch opens up.
'It's 30,000 feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?' Fury then closes the hatch then says that Loki's the ant and the monitor is the boot.
Loki then began chuckling 'It's impressive cage. Not built, I think for me.'
'Built for something a lot stronger than you.'
'Oh I've heard.' Loki says as he turns towards the camera on his left
'The mindless beast. Makes play, he's still a man' Loki says
Peter then looks up at Bruce and as he felt eyes on him so he looked up and seen Peter and he tried his best to do a smile but failed. Horribly
'How desperate are you that you, call on such lost creatures to defend you?' Loki started to raise his voice to get his point across.
'How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, and you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did.' Fury said each word he said he got closer to the cell each time.
'Ohh. It burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what?' Loki then started to smile
'A warm light for all mankind to share. And then to be reminded what real power is.' Loki says
'Well let me know if "Real power" wants a magazine or something.' Fury says as he starts to walk away
The monitor then turns off and silence was filled everywhere in the control room until
"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Bruce says as he tries to lighten the room but the only one to react was Peter, but it was only a light chuckle.
"Loki's gonna drag this out." Steve says then he looks up at Thor "So Thor, what's his play?"
"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard, nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth, in return I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor explains to the team as Maria Hill slowly joined them
"An army from outer space." Steve says while looking around at the team
"Wait so Aliens?" Peter questions but Thor and Steve just looks at him but didn't answer him
"So, he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce explains
"Selvig?" Thor asks confused if he had heard that correctly
"He's an astrophysicist." Bruce says to him
"He's a friend." Thor corrected him
"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours." Natasha chimed in
"Robin Hood." Peter jested which made Natasha glare at him "Right you are protective over him, understood."
"I want to know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here." Steve says ignoring Peter and Natasha
"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell crazy on him." Bruce says
"Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother." Thor protect his brother
