Peter, Tony and Bruce were tracking down the Tesseract in Bruce's lab.
"The gamma readings are definitely consistent with Selvig's reports of the Tesseract. But it's going to take weeks to process." Bruce tells the two
"If we passby their mainframe and direct route to the Homer cluster we can clock this at around 600 teraflops." Tony says as he taps on a monitor
"All I packed was a toothbrush." Bruce joked
"You packed?" Peter asked jokingly while turning around from his desk he was working on.
"You know, you both should come by Stark Tower sometime. Top ten floors, all R&D. You'd love it. It's candy land." Tony suggested
"Thanks, but last time I was in New York, I kind of broke Harlem." Bruce said as he remembered what happened
"And I had to clean up the mess." Peter jokingly was being dramatic
"Sorry." Bruce said feeling bad
"Don't worry about it, I'll do anything for my city even if it means cleaning it up." Peter said shrugging
"Well, I promise a stress free environment. For both of you." Tony says looking at both of them "No tension, no surprises." Then he zapped Bruce making him exclaim in pain
"Nothing?" Tony questions while expecting his face
"HEY!" A voice came from behind
"Are you nuts?" Steve says to Tony as Steve walked beside Peter
"Yes, yes he is." Peter answering for him
"Jury's out." Tony says as he carried on looking at Bruce. "You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? What's your secret? Mellow jazz, bango drums, huge bag of weed?"
"Is everything a joke to you?" Steve questions him
"Funny things are." Tony says as he pointing the zapping stick at Steve
"Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny." Steve then turns to Bruce "No offence, Doc."
"It's alright, I wouldn't have come aboard if I couldn't handle pointy things." Bruce says looking at the thing in Tony's hand.
"Your tip toeing, big man. You need to strut." Tony says to Bruce
"And you need to focus on the problem, Mr Stark." Steve said
"Do you think I'm not? Why did Fury call us in? Why now? Why not before? What isn't he telling us? I can't do the equation unless I have all the variables." Tony informs Steve
"You think Fury's hiding something?" Steve asks unsure
"Of course he is hiding something." Peter chimed in
"He's a spy. Captain, he's 'the' spy. His secrets has secrets." Tony added
"Every single time I have hacked into SHIELD, I have found out a new secret and the first secret was about my family, Steve!" Peter says tiny bit annoyed
"You've hacked into SHIELD?" Steve asked shocked after processing everything Peter said, but Peter didn't answer as he wasn't meant to say that, so Tony spoke up
"It's also bugging him too. Isn't it?" Tony asks Bruce
"Uh... I just want to finish my work here, and...-" Bruce tried to think of a lie to say but he couldn't think of one
"Doctor?" Steve asks
"Uhm... 'A warm light for all mankind.'Loki's jab at Fury about the Cube." Bruce mentioned
