✨ CHAPTER TWENTY NINE✨

Shubman woke up the next morning, he found Mrunmayee still nestled in his arms, her peaceful expression bringing a smile to his face.

She looked so delicate and serene, like a tiny little child sleeping soundly against him.

Carefully, Shubman began to slip out of her embrace, trying his best not to disturb her.

He gently shifted his weight, easing himself away from her without waking her up.

Once he was free, he sat up slowly, admiring the way the morning sunlight danced across her sleeping form.

With a tender touch, he brushed a strand of hair away from her face, marveling at the beauty of the woman lying before him.

Taking a moment to simply gaze at her, Shubman felt a swell of love and gratitude wash over him.

He was grateful for every moment he got to spend with her, for every smile she brought to his face, for every beat of his heart that belonged to her.

As he carefully replaced himself with a pillow, he couldn't help but feel a pang of longing to be close to her again.

But he knew that she needed her rest, and he was more than willing to wait until she woke up to be by her side once more.

With one last loving glance at her sleeping form, Shubman settled back against the headboard, content in the knowledge that he would always be there for her, now and forever.

Shubman stood in the bathroom, letting the warm water cascade over his skin, he couldn't help but wince as he felt a sudden burning sensation on his back.

Turning slightly, he caught sight of his reflection in the mirror and was shocked to see his back covered in scratches. They looked angry and raw, as if they could tear his skin apart.

"Woah, what happened here?" he muttered to himself, his brows furrowing in confusion as he examined the marks.

The memory of their passionate lovemaking from the previous night flooded back to him, and he couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of Mrunmayee's wild side.

"Looks like someone's got a bit of a wild streak," he mused, a playful grin tugging at the corners of his lips. "Or maybe she's just a wild cat in disguise."

Despite the discomfort of the scratches, Shubman couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at the intensity of their passion.

And as he continued to wash himself, he made a mental note to thank Mrunmayee for the unforgettable night they had shared.

Mrunmayee woke up, the gentle morning light filtering through the window and illuminating her room.

As she shifted in bed, she felt the duvet slipping down her body, and her eyes widened in surprise.

"Where are my clothes?" she murmured, her voice laced with confusion as she realized she was naked beneath the covers. "No, I didn't sleep naked—"
