"Hey, unang araw mo ngayon? remember. Honey?"

"Oh right, I forgot it's my first day today" I mumbled, as I sat up on the bed.

"It's so early" I said, as I stretched my body and rubbed my eyes with my hands.

"Shut up, okay fine."

I rolled my eyes and sighed, knowing that it was pointless to argue with my tita.

"One hour then" I said, sitting up on the bed. "I'll get ready as soon as possible."

I spent some time showering and getting dressed. I then started to do my make-up, being very careful to make sure that it was perfect and that nothing went wrong.

After some time, I was finally ready and I stepped out of my room and headed downstairs.

When I walked out into the house, I could see my tita sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee. She looked up at me and smiled.

"You look beautiful Calista, are you ready?" She said, as she took another sip of her coffee.

""Yes, I think so" I replied, as I looked at myself in the mirror one last time. "I just need to put on my heels and I'll be all set" I said, as I went over to my closet to grab my heels.

"Are you excited about your first day of work?" My tita ask, while she was finishing up her coffee.

When I was all set, I walked over to my tita and said goodbye. She wished me luck and gave me a hug, and then I was off.

I took a deep breath and stepped outside, the morning air filling my lungs with a sense of freshness. I could see the sun rising up, and I felt even more nervous as I walked towards my car.

After a quick drive, I arrived at the building. I took another deep breath before stepping inside. I was officially starting my work life as a CEO of this company. What a great.

Never pa ako pumunta rito.

"Good morning ma'am, I'm ariyala Quilan, your secretary, this is jaia Merañez the undersecretary.

I walked past them without even acknowledging their presence. I wanted to appear as confident and authoritative as possible, especially during my first day.
