Five years have passed since the events of Driftmark and Alicent had given birth to a girl who she named Aemma to honor the late Queen Aemma, Aemond had become an experienced fighter, just like Taeron said he would. Rhaegar drank less and was a good father to his children with Heleana, she had given birth to twins named Jaehaerys and Jaehaera Targaryen, they were two years old and she was currently pregnant with their third child. Aegon, on the other hand, was preparing, for in two days, he was going to marry Vaela Targaryen.

Rhaegar was awake, and Heleana was asleep. They were both naked from making love last night. He was playing with her hair while he had his hand on her four month pregnant belly. He loved her with all his heart and did not fail to show it, although he couldn't make out her riddles, and he tried.

"Mm, good morrow, my love." Heleana stirred.

"A very good one indeed." He said and kissed her cheek. "What do you wish to do today?"

"I have to help Vaela with her dress and mother to prepare for the wedding. I also have to try and stop the spools from turning." She said, and Rhaegar was once again confused.

"Can I help in some way?" He asked. He was really trying to understand what she would talk about, especially after Taeron told him that Heleana was a dreamer.

"No, Aegon will need you to help him." Heleana said.

"Just a few more minutes, I wish to hold you before we are swarmed with our responsibilities." Rhaegar said, and he held her as if she was going to leave.

"I will never leave you, husband, I love you." She said and turned her head to kiss him on his lips.

"I love you too, dreamer. You deserve the world, and I would give it to you without hesitation." Rhaegar said.

An hour later, they got dressed, and their children were brought in by Alicent and Talya.

"There's your mother and father." Alicent said to her grandchildren.

Jaehaerys and Jaehaera ran to their parents and were hugged by them.

"Rhaegar, you should help Aegon, I've already spoken to Aemond as well." Alicent said.

"Are they here yet?" Rhaegar asked. He was talking about Rhaenyra and Vaegon. He had grown to see his uncle for the madman ghat he is, but still believed that his aunt was not beyond saving.

"No, they should arrive by tonight." Alicent said. She herself was worried about Vaegon being in the capital.

"Where's father?" Helaena asked.

"He went hunting to clear his head." Alicent answered.

Rhaegar sighed, his father was under a lot of stress, and he tried to help where he could, especially since the kings health has only worsened.

"Alright, I will see you later, my wife." He said and kissed her cheek. He then looked at his children. "I will you both later as well." Rhaegar the left the room.

Rhaegar got to Aegons' room and found Aemond there.

"Where's Aegon?" He asked.

"I do not know, I've just arrived here, and Aegon was not here." Aemond said.

"Mother told us to help him prepare for his wedding, and now he's missing." Rhaegar said.

"Forgive me, my Princes. Prince Aegon told me to inform you that he won't be back until later this afternoon." Ser Erryk said.
