one person stayed. then that person became a pair.
"hyung? what're you doing here? i thought you said you'd get off.." jungsu asked him, looking confused."i know... but, i couldn't resist. i won't be on for that much longer, i promise." gunil said, reassuringly.
"i mean, i'll just be doing my own thing over here, so you're fine." jungsu replied before going back to his keyboard, leading gunil to do the same with his drum set.
the two stood there in awkward silence. neither was talking, but they were through their music. the melodies and beats produced were telling stories that the both of them weren't able to verbally say to each other.
and then, they said their goodbyes. those few minutes somehow became hours in the span of days. they all started staying on b-form much longer, but for them two, it was worse.
it took the rest of them to convince them to actually get off, that's how stubborn they were being.
"hyung, pleeeease!! we need to get off like, now! c'mon... we still have tomorrow!" jooyron whined, clearly already over it. "oh, c'mon.. a few more minutes won't hurt, right?" jungsu said. "you say that, and then you stay on until like.. 4am. hyung, please." seungmin said quickly and firmly.
"fine... i'll- i'll get off. i'll just text you guys later." jungsu said, defeated. "okay, byebye everyone! see you all tomorrow." jiseok said, putting his guitar away, and watching everyone disappear from the room.
but he decided he'd also stay a bit longer. but, it wasn't the same without them. but at the same time.. he was able to really feel the music resonate through him.
then, that's when he realized why they had sometimes stayed longer than usual. it was calming, just listening to your music, not letting anyone judge you for what you play, allowing those mistakes become a new melody... it was nice.
then, he found himself staying there longer along with his hyungs.
so, the one person became a pair, that soon became a trio.
