I want to talk about what happened.
Without mentioning how much it hurt.
There has to be a way.
To care for the wounds
Without reopening them.
To name the pain
Without inviting it back into me.

Jisung couldn't sleep tonight. There was something keeping his eyes wide awake and his brain running in circles. He didn't really know why there was something keeping him from rest, but something was weighing on his mind a little so perhaps that was the issue. So he decided he would sit down stairs, watching out the window as if there was something more entertaining out there for him.
There wasn't, he found out early on, but he
Couldn't draw his eyes away from the forest. Trees. Nature. Life. A Thing he knew he wouldn't see for a while. It was crazy how one normal day at school turns into hell in one long minute. He didn't think he would ever get over it.He snuggled closer into the blanket he had taken off of the sofa, bringing his head to rest in his knees from how cold it really was. The heating was on but from how close he was to the outside and the fact he was downstairs was explanatory to his coldness.
He had made sure Felix was dead asleep when he had left, not wanting to deal with waking the younger. He wasn't up for that conversation as to why he was up.
So alas, He was left with his thoughts now. Great. Something he wasn't looking forward to in the silence.
Whilst some liked to sit in their mind in the peace, simmer in their own thoughts because it was some sort of comfort. Jisung hated being left to his own devices. He hated his mind. He hated being left with his thoughts. He used to try almost everything to drown them out.
But now he didn't have the devices to do that. Bummer.
He sighed deeply, trying to overlap those dark thoughts with random ones. It didn't help his circumstances very much but it would have to do. He picked up something similar to the sound of shuffling?
His attention was drawn away when he heard the creak of a door, turning his gaze to where a familiar male stood.
Seungmin.
Dressed in a white shirt and pleated bottoms, the taller stood sleepily as he slightly swayed on his feet. Not someone he was expecting to see.
They hadn't really spoken since this all happened. Not really.
They still had their grudges and unsaid words.
And maybe even questions. Maybe Jisung would ask tonight."What are you doing up?" The simple words sounded like a dig coming from the taller. Jisung watched as he walked over to the sink. Grabbing a clean cup, he filled it up with water til it reached the top, not bothering to spare Jisung a glance as he spoke.
