The spirit is refreshed with laughter
It wasn't long before they began to move the next destination. It was a long tread as half way through it began to rain. The rain was heavy, so heavy within minutes they were drenched head to toe.
But they couldn't stop in the middle of no where. It was dangerous to stop when they weren't as familiar with their surroundings.
The rain belted down on them, slowing a few as the weight of their wet clothes began to tire them from not only dragging themselves forward, but their soaked luggage and clothes.
Chan had taken to walking at the front, trying to keep a clear eye of where their destination should be. He kept wiping his face as the rain practically drowned them under its shower.
Seungmin and Felix lagged to the back, both trying to help each other forward. Felix was struggling most out of everyone, Seungmin taking to helpfully pulling him but the collar of his clothes. Though Seungmin hadn't said a word about their odd arrangement as of yet because he himself was just trying to get through the rain without his glasses fogging up every two seconds.
Minho was also trying to help Hyunjin and Jeongin, both kept tripping over from how poor their vision was in the rain. You'd have thought they were the ones in need of glasses from how many times they tripped over each other. Minho would've laughed at them if he wasn't suffering with anxiety of any beast jumping out at them.
Changbin and Jisung walked behind chan, the self-proclaimed leader for now, as they both also tried to help keep on track, which was a difficult task with the way they kept nearly loosing chan in both the rain and the thick bushes they were walking through.
"Chan?!" Jisung shouted out after nearly an hour of silence with everyone just trying to save their energy. His voice was drowned out by the constant beating of the rain. When had the weather gotten so bad?
They could've sworn the sky was clear, bright and blue as they trek started off warm and surprisingly nice. But then suddenly Felix felt a drop of rain. He looked up to the sky just as many began to pour before alerting the others.
The worse thing was, they didn't know whether the rain was something good or bad for being in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.
Chan somehow managed to hear Jisung through the rain, stopping for a split second only to trip and slip on the thick mud. Seeing chans unfortunate fall, Jisung's eyes widened as his jaw dropped, he wanted to laugh, he really did, but it wasn't the time. So instead, he sprung forward to help chan up......only to fall over himself.
They both laid on the muddy floor, looking at each other with wide eyes. It wasn't smart to stay on the floor like this, getting dirtied by the mud and soaking in the dirty water. But they both couldn't help but laugh at its stupidity. Chan stood up, with alittle struggle as the clothes weighed him down, but he pulled himself up and held his hand out for Jisung to grab. Jisung grabbed it, both of them wobbling just as Changbin came through the bushes, managing to push Jisung up by his hands on his back.
"This rain sucks ass!" Jisung yelled, wet hair flopping infront of his face as he tried to talk. He grimaced then open his hair like curtains to see, which made both chan and Changbin snort at the younger.
"It's kind of a vibe, what do you mean?" Jeongin's voice was heard as they turned to see the rest closing in on their location.
Hyunjin huffed miserably, shivering as Minho put a hand on his shoulder as comfort. "It's freezing. It's not a good idea to get ill or a cold at a time like this."
