The devil in the details.

"Minho! Min—goddamnit!" The voice yelled out but the force on his back was harder to resist. "Minho don't be—!"

There wasn't a second to waste yet he felt he needed to waste a few. This wasn't how it was supposed to go.

"Move! We can't stay here! We'll go around. Move!" Another voice pushed him out of his thought, the hand on his back guiding him away.

This wasn't how things were meant to go. What had gone wrong? A lot of things.

"We can't—we can't leave them there!"

"Seungmin and Minho will be fine! Move! I think there's—people? There's more people!!"

When had everything gone to shit? Was it wise to do this all over again. The main thing, problem or blessing. There was another group of people.

The plan was difficult but simply said.

Days before the plan, chan and changbin had called a meeting to discuss something. No one had really said much about Chans red puffy eyes or Changbin solemn expression, only stopping to compliment both of their hairs. Especially on Chans now golden locks, no one missing the way the olders eyes twinkled at the praise.

They had made a plan to try and move their search to the town not far over. It was risky but after the small encounter with Chans father, it made them realise that other people may be alive. Other people meaning their families.

The other town over isn't too far, almost a 20 minute walk but they would need to be careful. Weapons and everything.

It had been a few days since chan had confessed, those days purely spent on rest, mental and physically and though the older was still in a means of struggle, he was relatively better and back to his usual self. His bruises were healing quickly with the help of some soothing cream Changbin had gotten and his injury to the head was healing up nicely.

After checking to make sure chan was up and healed enough for this trip, they began to make preparations.

Seungmin was in charge of carrying a brief map to where they were heading, everyone had weapons, water and food in their backpacks and Changbin gave everyone their own walkie talkies. Not too long after they were set to go.

It wasn't long before they were all moving out of the forest. They hadn't left red marks this time, having Changbin there to guide them was enough and the chance of others raiding the house didn't seem like a good scenario.

"Wow, really looking at what's happened to these buildings is crazy. To think not even two weeks ago we were living a normal life."Hyunjin commented, eyes roaming over the buildings that were already beginning to become infested with plants.

"What is normal anymore?" Jisung murmured, though it seemed Hyunjin barely heard him, the other looking at him questionably. The blue haired male only shrugged his shoulders, not really bothered enough to repeat himself.

"God I remember going to the self checkout of the bakery in that one shop, I would input the number for a lesser item and pay cheaper. Good days." Felix laughed slightly, the memories of technically stealing and getting away with it flooding his mind.

"Wait how did you do that?" Changbin questioned, genuinely curious to how one gets away with that.

"Well, say I got two piece of those overpriced cakes from the bakery section without barcodes. I would go to self checkout, input the cost of a donut which is so much cheaper, pay for that and leave. Technically I paid for something so not necessarily stealing." He explained, looking around as they arrived at the exit to the town, now walking along a road.
