THIRD PERSON’S POINT OF VIEW (PAST)

“Momma, naur! I don’t want to, please. I am not sick. I don’t need a doctor. Momma!!” a cry of a twelve years old can be heard in a room. Her mother is looking at her helplessly. Wanting to help the child, but she doesn’t know what to do.

“M-mommy…” the child whimper. She keep on saying that she doesn’t need anyone. That she’s not sick. “Mommy, I am not sick…please…I don’t need a doctor. Don’t..I don’t want to see them. They will hurt me mommy…they’re monster. Mom, monster…they will hurt me!”

Hindi na natiis ni Reign na huwag puntahan ang bata, she hug her, keeping her safe.

“Mommy’s here na, baby.

At nang puntahan nila, they saw her talking to herself. Papalit-palit ng boses at ekspresyon.

Keres already knew that her daughter might be suffering from BPD. She’s a doctor herself, but she stopped doing that job, nang mamatay ang kapatid niya.

Khalida killed herself, hindi man lang niya natulungan ito kaya natatakot siyang baka maulit ang nangyari sa kapatid niya, and this time..it will be her own child.

“There’s no monster. Mommy and I are here to help---” malambing niyang bulong.

“No one’s there, when…when they’re hurting me…when they kept on hitting me..no..no one came. Not you, not even you…no one help me…monster…they’re monster..they will hurt me again, I don’t want it…I don’t like it…no…I don’t…I…help me…mom…please….monster..it’s everywhere. The doctor..it’s monster…”

Napahinga ng malalim si Keres, she’s trying her best not to cry, too.

So, what she did is call her friend. Her former classmate, a psychologist. She knew that she can help her daughter.

Halatang bagong gising. “I won’t answer this call sana but I saw your name..you rarely cal--”

“H-help…” Keres bit her bottom lip. “Help my daughter, Yna…please.” No, she vowed not to beg with anyone unless it is her wife. But this case is different, ayaw niya ng mawalan uli ng mahal sa buhay. She’s tired seeing people die in front of her.

Not her wife, not her daughter. Not anyone else she love.

“W-wait..what’s going on? Damn, saglit.

Was this her karma? Is this all her fault?
