3 hours before the attack

3rd person POV
Gin was on his cigarette as he was looking at the night sky above on a rooftop of a building.
It was peaceful for as long as he was there until a woman's voice breaks the silence.
Vermouth: So, this is where you are??
Gin: What do you want?
Vermouth: Ohh nothing. Though, I do want to report something to you.
Gin: Let me guess, is it the weapons cache??
Vermouth: That's right. Bourbon has already investigated the place himself hours ago to see how it was even raided so easily in the first place. He said that there was an explosion that occurred there and a massacre of our men. As well as all of our smuggled weapons being stolen as well.
Gin puffs a smoke as he spoke.
Gin: I see. Is it the rebels??
Vermouth: We're not sure. Even Bourbon couldn't find out if it's them. He said it's possible that the rebels are behind it but at the same time...
Gin: At the same time, what?
Vermouth: Bourbon just made a theory. He told me that there's a 3rd party that's currently going about causing some problems. There's been several disappearances of our members in the last 2-3 hours.
Gin: So, it's not the rebels??
Vermouth: In fact, we even encountered a few rebel corpses along with our own men. Meaning that-
Gin: Meaning that we have a new problem on our hands.
Vermouth: What should we do about it then?
Gin: The rebels are our priority. The rest, we can deal with later.
Vermouth: Are you sure?? They just destroyed one of our most important weapons caches and we're going to just let that slide??
Gin: One problem at a time. If this 3rd party is also going after the rebels, then that will make things easier for us.
Vermouth: So, you're not too worried. Why am I not surprised? By the way, we just lost a few more men in the weapons cache. A trap was apparently set after it was raided. Luckily, Bourbon is somehow alive from that. He thinks it's the rebels but like I mentioned earlier, it has to be a 3rd party. I don't think even Rum would be psychotic enough to leave such traps.
Gin: The 3rd party can wait.
Gin then drops his cigarette and stomps his foot on it casually before leaving.
As he arrives at the door, Gin spoke before fully leaving.
Gin: I advice you to prepare our forces to the shrine. It will be a long night for us if the rebels bring their entire group there.
He opens the door and then left.
Vermouth was now all alone as she chuckles to herself.
Vermouth: (Ohh Gin, you don't have a clue who you're up against. Though, that's going to be on you once you meet them. Once the Devil comes knocking to your door. Although...when I returned to speak to Daigo for a bit...I was hit with an unexpected news.)
*Flashback*
An hour ago
At an undisclosed location
Vermouth: Thinning out the numbers I see.
Haru: That's right. I want to send a little bit of paranoia among both sides.
