3rd person POV

Inside of a government office.

Yotsuba Maya was sipping tea with a familiar figure in politics, Kijima.

Maya: This project is pretty crucial. 

Kijima: I know. It's always nice that you are providing such innovation for this country. Though wouldn't that be a problem for a certain someone if he finds out about it??

Maya: If you're talking about Tatsuya. Don't worry about him. I have that covered. I don't want him to be involved in that project until I can find a way to keep it all under lock and key by the time he chooses to help me with it.

Kijima: Your nephew is a powerful asset for the military. 

Maya: True but well it would be a long story for me to explain.

Kijima: I see. 

Maya: Tell me, is there a school where I can allow Tatsuya to have his skills be put to the test?

Kijima: There is one I can recommend to you.

Maya: And what would that be?

Kijima: Advanced Nurturing High.

Maya: The school you built?? 

Kijima: Yes. Though why choose to do this? Don't you have like all of the physical and mental data on Tatsuya?

Maya: There is but in order for this project to work. The data must be gathered and used in real time. Meaning, it won't work unless Tatsuya is in action during his time in that school.

Kijima: You want raw data on him to be processed.

Maya: Correct. Though downside to it is that he won't be able to fulfill his role as guardian to my dear Miyuki. However, that is part of the project. Call it a test of sorts for him. To see how well he can do without her for an entire year.

Kijima: I see.

Maya: That's just the first phase of the project. 

Kijima: This is just the first phase??

Maya: Yes, it will take some actual time since I need about 5 years in order to fully make this project a success.

Kijima: That would take quite a while though Yotsuba-san.

Maya: I'm well aware but it will be worth it in the end.

Yotsuba Research and Development Lab (Facility Omega)

Secret Underground Lab

Two people have just stepped out of the elevator.

Maya and Fitzgerald arrived at a secret underground laboratory which also serves as a manufacturing area.

Fitzgerald: Why keep this project a secret from the siblings for so long?

Maya: They know they wouldn't approve of my actions if they knew what the true purpose of the project is. I want to spin the narrative a little more before I can put things to motion.

Fitzgerald: I don't know about this Yotsuba-san. I'm a fair businessman as you know but I'm not as manipulative as you are. Do you consider it fair for Tatsuya and Miyuki to just be guinea pigs to your new project?

Maya: Of course not. I wouldn't call them guinea pigs. They are helping me for a while now, but they don't know it yet. Tatsuya would eventually know what the project is about, but I guarantee it would already be too late even for his great intellect to know the truth. Fitzgerald, I'm doing this for the greater good and progress for society. I only side with those who I think will keep the Yotsubas in power.
