Within the rural parts of Tokyo.
Kaguya continues her weeklong training.
4 days have already passed as she continues to contemplate on what she needs to do next.
Kaguya: *Sigh* I never thought that I would find training in the woods would be as exhausting as attending meetings when I was still part of the family. Then again, it was my choice. I wanted to get stronger. Not just for Kiyotaka-kun and Miyuki-kun but for the rest of the CSD. (Though, sometimes, I feel like our situation just continues to grow worse as these threats got stronger. I don't know. I've been shouldering this burden within my mind knowing that I just wanted things to go back to normal. I thought my life would be set the moment I graduated...and then things just went wrong...all wrong. I can't understand why all of this happened. I know I have no control over it but...I just can't understand why. I just want to live a normal life with Miyuki-kun and my friends. Yeah...that's it. I'll do whatever it takes to take back our normal lives. We'll stop the White Room, we'll take down Apocalypse, we'll deal with everyone that's been a problem for us for so long. I have to get stronger. Stronger compared to before.)
She picks up her knife as she prepares to do more physical training.
However...
???: Man, quite the workout you've been doing, eh?
Kaguya: Hmm?! Who's there!?
She turns around as all she could see was the woods behind her.
Kaguya looked around for a bit before hearing that voice again. A male's voice.
???: I like your determination, Shinomiya-san. Though, is that out of desperation or something else?
Just then, a man suddenly fell from the trees below as a certain Information Broker stood before Kaguya.
His hands were in his pockets with a menacing glee.
Kaguya: Sorry, do I know you?
Izaya: Ohh right. Where are my manners? I almost forgot that you're a Shinomiya. Maybe I should bow to you in respect or whatever. Is that what you want?
Kaguya: I see now. You're from Apocalypse, right?
Izaya: Good guess. That's right. I'm from Apocalypse. I've never properly introduced myself to you, haven't I? My name is Orihara Izaya. Nice to meet you, Shinomiya-san.
Kaguya: What do you want and how did you find me?
Izaya: Ohh I was just in the neighborhood, doing my thing. You know, business and whatnot.
Kaguya: Ohh, I get it now. You're the one that Masakatsu-kun fought back on the Suijin.
Izaya: Heh! You're a quick one. Yes, I did end up getting my ass kicked but that's just how it is. But I'm not going to tell you about my life story. I want to hear yours.
Kaguya: How about...no. If you're planning to either kidnap or kill me. I suggest you do your best...if you can.
Izaya: My, feisty, are we? Don't worry, I'm not actually here to fight. I'm here to talk.
Kaguya: Tch! That's what they all say before they do something else after.
Izaya: That's typically what a villain would do but I'm not going to do anything that would cause problems. Trust me. I don't have any backup or anything. Just you and me.
Kaguya: You think I'm stupid enough to believe that?
Izaya: Calm down, no need to be this suspicious of me. I can assure you. You're a woman who should be taught to be civilized, right? At least for your sake, try to act like a decent lady and talk to me without having to be so tensed up.
