6 hours before the raid

At an undisclosed location

Tsuruoka's office

3rd person POV

A male individual in military uniform was standing at an office as he was reading a few files.

??? (Male): Hmm...I guess it can't be helped now.

???: Oi! What are you doing in his office?!

The male turned around as in front of him was a short woman who is also wearing a military uniform.

??? (Female): Don't tell me you're looking through the old man's files?

??? (Male): I just did. What about it?

??? (Female): I was going to do it...but since you're the captain, I suppose I'll let this slide.

??? (Male): I think I should be the one asking you about why you're here anyway.

??? (Female): Right. Anyway, you've heard the news, right?

??? (Male): I know already. Tsuruoka is finally dead huh? Hmph!

He casually puts down the files on the desk as the female spoke.

??? (Female): What, are you gonna miss the guy or something?

??? (Male): With him finally gone. I can enact the justice that I want.

??? (Female): What's that now? Are you trying to say that you're glad that he's finally gone?

???: (Male): That's right. His idea of justice has always been flawed. Tsuruoka was a fool to think he could get away with his crimes. I was hoping to be the one that kills him...but it seems that fate was more than cruel to him.

??? (Female): I see...hehehehehehe!

??? (Male): What do you find so funny, vice-captain?

Vice-captain: Ohh nothing. I was just thinking the same thing. You are right to call Tsuruoka's justice flawed. Why else have I been slandering his name so many times? Besides, I'd rather do my own thing instead of following that senile old man. The cherry on top of that is the fact that the prime minister is also dead. I never liked either of them anyway. So, what do you think we should do now, captain?

Captain: Simple...now that he's out of the way. We can now make our move.

Vice-captain: So, does that mean we're going after Apocalypse now?

Captain: We'll do that once we've dealt with our other problem.

Vice-captain: Pardon?

Captain: We'll weed out the incompetent first.

Vice-captain: Ohh?

Captain: Answer me this, vice-captain.

Vice-captain: What is it?

Captain: Have you ever dealt with soldiers who are...how should I put this? Undisciplined?

Vice-captain: Of course I have! I mean, it's usually a pain in the ass having people like that running around knowing that you have to straighten them up. Otherwise, what would be the point of training if you don't do something about it?

Captain: Exactly. The CSD are the same. While I do commend their work. They failed to capture Fyodor on a few occasions. I'm not convinced that they're the right people to save the country.

Vice-captain: They did capture some of the top members of the Black Organization, and they did apprehend two members of Apocalypse as well. But I do agree with you. It doesn't matter how many members are taken down. As long as the leader is still active, the CSD have no chance of beating him. Heck, even those Armed Detective Agency guys couldn't capture Fyodor! I mean they have the most dangerous person in that organization and yet they still failed. What was his name again? Dazai Osamu? Yeah, him. What an utter disappointment he was as well!
