Leah woke up to a scream.

'What's wrong with you?' She yelled when she walked groggily into the living room.

Avery sat on the couch with her head in her hands.

'Look outside.' She replied pointing to the window.

Leah narrowed her eyes and grabbed her glasses from the kitchen counter.

'This better be worth- holy shit.' She said taking in the scene.

They weren't in the year 2015 at all. The stores all looked vintage and not to mention the clothes people were wearing.

'Avery! I knew he wasn't lying!' Leah yelled before snapping the window shut.

'He had to have drugged us or something, this can't be real.' Avery said pacing.

Leah rubbed her neck nervously before running to her room.

'Is your phone working?' She asked.

Avery grabbed her own before slamming it on the counter.

'We're in the 40's, how are we supposed to get a connection?' She hissed.

Leah sighed in frustration before grabbing her jacket and shoes.

'Where are you going?' Avery asked.

'We've got to find Abraham.' Leah answered simply.

'He's not real!' Avery breathed out.

Leah stopped tying her Timberland boots and glared at her friend.

'You also said time travel wasn't and look where that landed us.'

With that she tied her boot and left the apartment. She walked down the street and into a diner that looked very familiar.

'Angie?' She said trying to keep her cool.

The girl turned around and smiled before giving a quizzical look.

'Have we met before?' She asked.

'Oh no, just heard of you through a friend.' Leah said covering up her fangirl mistake.

Angie was a character from her favourite show, Agent Carter. The only thing that was keeping her from going full fangirl was the fact that she had no idea how she ended up in this Marvel induced world.

'Can I get ya anything?' Angie said happily.

'Maybe just a coffee and directions to the nearest phone booth.'

Angie skipped off to the kitchen and grabbed the coffee before writing the directions out.

'Come back soon, Doll Face.' She said happily waving Leah off.

Leah thanked her and left the restaurant before bumping into someone.

'Sorr-oh, it's you.' She said when Avery gave her a week smile.

'If we're gonna get back we need to work together.'

Leah nodded before linking arms with her best friend and following Angie's directions.

'Who're you gonna call?' Avery asked as Leah searched the phone book.

'Who do we know of in this weird world?'

'You should call Steve.' Avery said grinning.

'No you idiot, we need to call someone who's smart, has enough money to help us and, is my favourite.' Leah said smirking and turning back to the book.

'Got it!' She said happily.

She punched in the number and waited on the line.

'Hello, Stark residence, how may I be of your assistance?'

Leah gave herself a high five before calming her emotions.

'Hello Mr Jarvis, is Howard home?' She asked.

'Mr Stark just stepped out but would you like me to tell him you called?'

Leah nervously looked at Avery before replying back to Jarvis.

'No need, we'll be visiting him soon.'

With that, she hung up.

'Calling Howard Stark was your plan?' Avery asked raising her brows.

'Avery, don't deny his brilliance.' Leah said pushing past and walking down the street.

'I won't deny your obsession either.' Avery said to herself before chasing her friend.
