Prompt- can you make one where Liam is homesick on the tour bus and he is cuddling his stuffed puppy and Niall comes to find him because he heard Liam crying and he hides the puppy because he is ashamed of it but Niall finds it and Liam says he only uses it when he is sad, scared or when he misses his mum Niall just asks what the name of his stuffed puppy is and Liam says that it is just puppy ——————————————————————————
Liam's pov
We are half way through our take me home tour we are in Seattle. Niall and I have just started a relationship just before the start of the tour but management aren't letting us come out though. We are currently on the tour bus. It is about 2am. I am sat alone in the main area of the bus. Everyone else is in the bunk room trying to get some sleep. I have tried but I am missing my mum too much.
I lay down and find my stuffed puppy that I hid whilst the boys were still out here and I cuddle it. I bury my face into it and start crying hoping that the sound is slightly muffled. My hopes aren't answered because I soon hear Niall's Irish accent saying "Li baby what's the matter?" I quickly hide my stuffed puppy and wipe my eyes and say "Nothing I'm fine." Niall crouches down in front of me and says "Li I know when you are lying to me. What's wrong?" I shrug and say "I miss my mum." Before I start crying again. Niall pulls me into a hug.
Niall's pov just before
I get woken up by some sobs. I know they are Liam's sobs. He doesn't cry often but when he does it is heartbreaking. I open my curtains and see that Liam's curtains are open and he isn't in bed. I slowly get out of my bunk and walk towards the main area of the bus. I say "Li baby what's the matter?" He instantly stops crying and he hides something and he says "Nothing I'm fine." I walk over to the sofa and crouch down in front of him and say "Li I know when you are lying to me. What's wrong?" Liam shrugs and says "I miss my mum." And he starts crying again. I gently pull him into a hug and gently rub his back.
I gently move so we are both sat on the sofa. Liam moves so he is sat on my lap. He starts to reach out for something but stops himself. I gently take the thing he was trying to get and hand it to him the stuffed puppy.

He cuddles into me and I know he is embarrassed. I say once he is calmer "What's your puppy's name?" Liam says playing with a loose thread on my top "His name is puppy. I have had him since I can remember. My mum gave him to me. I only bring him on tour with me just incase I get sad or scared or miss my mum. Puppy was my only friend during secondary school when I got bullied." Before he starts crying again. I gently rub his back and kiss his forehead. He says "I miss my mum" I continue to rub his back. Liam soon falls asleep clutching onto my top and his stuffed puppy. I smile at the sight. It is a rather cute sight. I cover us up with the blanket and soon follow Liam to sleep.
A few hours later I get woken up by Liam crying. I sit up and say "Li baby what's wrong?" He shrugs and looks over at me. I gently pull him to my side and he whispers to me "I miss my mum" I gently rub his back and say "Oh babe." I grab my phone and look at the world clock and say "Would you like to try and call her?" Liam nods and I find Karen's number and click the call button. I put the phone on speaker and she picks up on the third ring "Hello Niall. Is everything alright?" I say "For the most part. Li is feeling homesick though. He would like to talk to you before going back to sleep for a couple of hours." Karen responds "Of course I will speak to him." I say "Li, your mum is on the phone." Liam looks up and says "Mum." Karen says "Hi baby, Niall tells me you are feeling a bit homesick" Liam nods and says "Yeah I am. I miss you and dad and Roo and Nic" Karen says "Oh you poor thing. We miss you as well Li. Have you got puppy with you?" Liam blushes and says "Mum. But yeah I do" Karen laughs and says "Sorry Liam. Did Niall not know about puppy." Liam says "It's fine. Ni found out earlier but the other boys don't know. They are all asleep though" Karen responds "Alright. What time is it where you are." Liam shrugs and I say "It's 4am." Karen says "Get some sleep both of you. Call me at a more decent time for you." Liam says "I love you mum and I miss you." Karen says "I love you too Liam and I also miss you. You'll be home before you know it though." Liam nods and Karen says "Night boys." Both Liam and I respond "Night" before the call ends.
Liam cuddles into me more and says "Thanks Ni." I respond "What for Li?" Liam shrugs and responds "Sitting up with me and letting me call my mum." I kiss him on the top of the head and say "Your so welcome Li." Liam then says "Ni could you not tell the other boys about puppy please. It's embarrassing that I have to take a stuffed animal on tour with me." I say "Of course I won't but all of us have something from home with us remember" Liam nods and I lay us down and say "Go to sleep my love." Liam nods and curls into me and rests his head over my heart and falls asleep. I follow Liam to sleep not long after.
A few weeks later no one's pov
Niall helped Liam through feeling homesick. Niall made sure that Liam got to speak to his family at least once a week whilst on tour.
