Liam broken knee

Liam's pov

We have just finished our where we are tour. We are going on a hike today. Louis (My boyfriend since half way through the take me home tour when the boys dared us to kiss) keeps on complaining about going on a hike. We are in the car and Louis is currently complaining about going on the hike for like the 50 millionth time and it is getting quite annoying I say "Lou I know you don't particularly enjoy hiking but you said you would go for me as I do things that I don't like for you." Louis says smiling at me "I know Li and I love you for that. I am just complaining jokingly. I don't mind that we are going hiking. If it makes you happy I don't care what we do." I smile at him and shake my head fondly.

We soon arrive at the bottom of the trail we are hiking up. I say "I used to come here all the time with my parents and sisters. It is beautiful." We get our bags out of the car and we go to the entrance. Once we are all ready we start the hike. I smile remembering the scenery. I feel Louis rap an arm around my shoulder and he says "I'm glad you are happy love. It makes me happy to know you are happy." I smile at him and we continue to walk.

After about an hour of us walking we decide to take a break and have some lunch. I have already finished my lunch and I stand up and Louis asks "Where you going babe?" I respond "Not too far just over here for a second." Louis nods and I walk a few feet away from the boys. I smile as I look round. As I turn to face the boys I see Louis has got his phone out and pointing at me. I know he is taking a photo of me. I smile at him then he stands up and comes over to me. He says "You look really happy Li. I'm glad you are having a great time." I ask "Did you take a picture of me?" Louis nods and says "Yeah you looked too cute not to take a picture of." I smile and we walk over to the other boys. Harry asks "Are we ready to go?" We all nod and start walking again.

About an hour and a half later. We are almost at the end of the trail then we will head back to the car. I am walking ahead of everyone. I know Louis has been taking photos of me. As we get to the end I turn around to look at the boys and say "Isn't it beautiful up here." Louis takes another photo of me and says "It is but it's not as beautiful as you are." I smile and blush and we sit down taking in the scenery. Louis moves so he is sitting right next to me and I lean my head on his shoulder. We sit for about half an hour before I say "We should probably start heading back now it will be getting dark soon." The others nod and we all stand up and start to walk back to the car.

When we are half way back I forget there is a slight step down. I feel myself falling and something snapping as I hit the ground. I bite my lip and groan in pain. I see Louis come into my eye line and he says "Babe what happened?" I say "I forgot about that slight step and I fell. I felt something snap in my leg" I feel tears welling up in my eyes and say "My leg really hurts." Louis asks "What leg hurts babe?" I respond "My left leg. Mainly by my knee" I feel a tear fall down my face and Louis gently wipes it away.

I feel a gentle hand on my left leg and Harry says "Li could you tell me when the pain is worst in your leg. I will be as gentle as I can" I nod and Louis takes my hand as Harry gently presses on my lower left leg slowly making his way up towards my knee. As Harry gently presses just below my knee cap I grip Louis' hand tightly and say "Harry stop it hurts" and I start sobbing. Harry says "Sorry Li, is that where most of your pain is?" I nod and Harry says "I'm so sorry Liam. Could I feel around and above?" I shake my head as Louis squeezes my hand. He says to me "Come on baby let Harry feel then we can get you to the hospital." I nod reluctantly and Harry gently feels around my knee and I sob more and squeeze Louis hand tightly.

Louis' pov

It is heartbreaking to hear Liam crying in pain. Once Harry has finished feeling around Liam's knee he says "We need to somehow carry Liam whilst keeping his left leg as straight as possible. I say "Two of us carry him and one person gently hold his left foot" we all nod and Niall and I gently take one of Liam's arms each and I say "Li babe brace yourself we are about to lift you up. Niall and I have got your arms and Harry will have your left foot alright and we will walk slowly." Liam nods and together with support from Zayn so we don't fall back down carefully lift Liam up Liam says "Please go slow. My leg really hurts" I say "Of course we will go slow. Are you ready to go?" Liam nods and we slowly walk back to the car.
