Liam scared of the dark and thunder storms

Liam's pov

We are half way through our take me home tour. We are in Kansas city. Niall and I have been in a relationship since the start of the X-factor live shows. We both had crushes on each other durning the boot camp then after we got through to the second week of live shows Niall kissed me on the lips when we were away from all the cameras. The fans don't know we are together due to management not wanting us to come out. We are currently at a hotel. It is about 2:30am and I can't sleep. I wish I had Niall in here. Harry is in the room with me but I miss my Niall. He is in his own room. I have the lamp on low as I really don't like the dark. Harry doesn't mind me having the lamp on.

There is suddenly a clap of thunder followed by some lightning. I sit up and pull my knees to my chest and wrap my arms around them. I whimper as another clap of thunder comes and some more lightning which causes my lamp to flicker then go out completely. I whimper again as I feel tears fall down my face. I wish Niall was here. He is the only one who knows I am scared of thunder

Harry's pov

I get woken up by thunder and some whimpering. I look over and see Liam shaking. I say "Li are you alright?" He whimpers again as another clap of thunder happens. I get out of bed and walk over to Liam and sit on his bed and say "Li why don't you turn your lamp on" Liam shakes his head and I look as lighting strikes and see that his lamp is switched on. I say "Oh Li the storm has made the power go out." A loud clap of thunder bangs again and Liam starts crying. He says "Ni" I stand up and walk over to my bedside table and grab my phone. I walk back over to Liam's bed and turn my phone on and ring Niall. Niall picks up after the second ring. He says "I was just about to ring Liam. Is he alright?" I say "I'm not sure. The only thing he has said since I woke up was Ni" Niall says "Alright. He is scared of storms just to let you know. Has the power went out?" I say "Yeah it has. He is really upset." Liam says "Ni Ni" I say "He needs you. He is really upset and panicking" Niall says "Alright. I'll be there in a few minutes" I say "Alright. See you in a few minutes." The call ends and I say "Li, Niall will be here soon." Liam didn't respond and just continued to cry as thunder rumbles again.

A few minutes later Niall walks into the room and instantly rush over to Liam. I get off Liam's bed and Niall takes my spot and gently pulls Liam into him.

Niall's pov

As soon as I get to Liam and Harry's room I walk in and over to the bed. Harry stands up and I get on Liam's bed and gently pull him to my side. Liam curls into me. He starts sobbing as thunder rumbles again. I gently pull him onto my lap and say "Haz feel free to go to my room. I don't think he will sleep tonight" Harry shakes his head and says "I don't think I would be able to sleep ether. I'm too worried about him" I nod and gently rock Liam. Liam curls into a ball on my lap clutching onto me. I gently rub his back with one hand and smooth his hair with the other and whisper soothing words to him. I feel Liam grip hold of me tighter as another loud clap of thunder rumbles through the night. I say "Hey. It can't hurt you. We are inside. It won't hurt you I will protect you. Why don't you try and get some sleep? I will be here if you wake up." Liam shakes his head. I gently rock him whist rubbing his back and smoothing his hair and I gently hum a soothing tune and soon I feel Liam getting heavier as he falls asleep.

I carefully lay down with Liam and Harry asks "Is he asleep?" I nod and say "Thanks for being with him earlier." Harry responds "It's alright. I didn't realise he was scared of thunderstorms as well as the dark." I say "He was embarrassed to say about both but due to being ether on the tour bus or in a hotel room with any of you Liam had to tell about his fear of the dark. I am going to see if I can encourage Liam to say about his fear of thunderstorms but I don't know if he will or not." Harry nods

The next day no one's pov

Liam with encouragement from Niall everyone about his fear of thunderstorms and whenever there was a thunderstorm the boys especially Niall helped Liam through it.
