Heyyy...
So in the end of the final chapter, i talked about making little, short chapters of after the end of it based around different characters from the book. And now, I deliver. My updates for this won't be as frequent, as the story is over and these are just little add-ons from other character perspective.

Max

I ran as fast as I could, something burning coursing through my veins; smoke filled my lungs, and my vision blurred around the edges the more I sprinted. Mr. Sunny and Mr. Moony were still in there, if I didn't make it out fast enough, they could-could--

"MAX!"

Pausing, I realized I was outside now, shaking so violently that it felt like a buzzing in my limbs. "S-Sunny, Moony-- i-inside, stuck!" I rambled out, falling to the concrete ground of the car park. What was even going on, one minute we were all playing hide & seek and the next there's a fire and everyone's running without me. Arms hugged me, which I leaned into. "Shh, it's ok dear. Mr. Sunny and Moony will be fine, I promise." A lovely brunette lady assured me, petting my head. That was nice-- my mum does that to me when things get stressful, she'd ruffle my hair and draw shapes on my back and make me guess them. I closed my eyes and tried to zone away from the noise and icky smoke smell.

Poppy

I smiled weakly at the little boy resting against my leg whilst I pet his head slowly. Poor guy probably doesn't know what's going on-- to be honest not even us workers know. Some speculated it was the wires the renovators left exposed that the two attendants complained about; others complained it was an error from the robots themselves. No matter what caused the fire, one thing was clear-- no animatronics would get out without harsh damages. Only Freddy was with us, face melted on the right cheek from the initial burst of flames, and stood amongst the kids trying to comfort them as best he could with his distorted appearance. Chica was off shift so was most likely stuck in her green room; Roxanne was doing a meet & greet so she was most likely with that evacuation group on the other side of the plex; Monty, no one was sure but apparently, he was last seen throwing a tantrum at his golf course and no one saw him since.

"All kids are out, as are human staff. We have yet to find the other animatronics." One of the executives whispered to another a little bit behind me, getting a scoff from the other. "What does it matter if we don't, they're replaceable-- it's just metal after all." He nudged the first guy with a shrug. What a bunch of stuck-up assholes. My attention went back to Max, who now was looking around. "Where's Mr. Monty and the girls?" He whimpered softly, eyes watering with new tears. What do I tell a close to crying child that "Well, your other friends are burning slowly in the fire or overheated to death" without saying that? Just before I could think of the words, the head owner of this plex whistled for everyone's attention.

Max

I think I zoned out during the old man's talk, my hoodie strings with little black bits at the end were far more interesting than him. After though my mum took me home whilst ranting to dad over the phone of the car. "Mum, am I gonna see Mr. Sunny and Moony again?"

"I don't know honey; I think they're taking a little break to... to deal with the heat. But don't worry we'll find you some other place. I promise." She smiled at me with her eyes, twinkling in the sunlight as they looked at me from the rear-view mirror at me. Normally I can trust my mum, but the faintest squint before her gaze went back to the road made me think something was up. She'd never lie to me though; it's mum and she's always right- like that one time when she told me that veggies are good for me, just like Moony and sunny...

I do hope they're ok.

--------------------------------------------

Mum was at the stove one morning, cooking bacon for me and my sister as we sat on the sofa watching Bluey. I love Bluey, whenever we had naptime back in the daycare, I'd always take the Bluey blanket from the blanket bin and try to match it with the pillow but Moony would say I needed to share the Bluey stuff cause 'other kids also like Bluey, not just me'. Boooring--

The channel was flicked off the show and onto a news one, showing a story for the plex, an image of it in coloured flames beside some text. I'm a good reader but some words were too big for me to understand, but a few were familiar to me- "fire" "bots" "closed" and a few other ones i couldn't understand in time before footage was shown. "Look Mum, It's us!" I smiled, pointing at pixel versions of us stood near the back of the other people from the day. She came over and gasped, changing the channel quickly. "Daniel, come here now!"

Breakfast was awkward, with both Mum and Dad silent as we all ate the yummy breakfast Mum made of bacon and eggs with crunchy green leaves. The only noise was whatever was still playing on the Telly as we ate. Even the car ride was quiet apart from the radio which played Mummy's audio book about animals-- today's chapter was about a fight between the animals and the humans. "Turn that off Susanna, the kids are far too young for something so complex." Dad complained, turning off the radio and rolling down the window almost immediatly after. I was starting to enjoy it too!

I wasn't taken to daycare today like she promise before. Apparently mum wants to try nursery instead. She won't even talk about Sun and Moon—

"Because they're gone, ok? They left, wemt on holiday. Now behave for the nice lady whilst i'm gone."
