Xmas special✨🎄

|Moon's POV|

Christmas music blasted throughout the entire pizza plex, etching Mariah Carey into our audio receptors...it's been like this since mid-November, and i am close to making myself deaf :D

"How many more bunting is left?.." Sun groaned as he scavenged into the box Eclipse held for another, a clear glint of annoyance in his milky eyes. Eclipse shrugged as they continued to hold the carboard box, a simple yet messy 'Xmas box' written on it in sharpie, done by yours truly~. "My hands are sore" sunny complained, turning to me.

"So are mine sunny, but we have the other half of the daycare to do.." i smiled, rubbing the back of his left hand. He smiled at the gestor before he took my right hand and pressed a soft kiss into it, causing me to giggle. Eclipse smiled with a role of their eyes and shook the decoration box "Hey, my hands hurt too from holding this box, do i get hand kisses?" This caused me and Sunny to laugh. "Yes, let's just finish this side off and you'll get your kisses"

After hours of stringing up bunting and Christmas lights, us three were all cozied up in blankets as E.l.f played from the naptime projector. How did we get this film?... Don't ask. Anyways, as we watched, i began feeling sleepy. Like very sleepy, which made sense since we had been working all morning, from 7:15 to 12:35 (Recorded the times for management). I think sunny had noticed because he paused the film and gently scooped me up. eclipse was already asleep, snoring their ass off like a leaf blower. "Wanna make dinner?" He whispered into my audio receptors, and i was conscious enough to give a nod. He smiled, pressing a kiss against my slightly flushed cheek from resting on it before carrying me to the communal animatronic kitchen. 

The kitchen was a cozy cluttered area, filled with a variety of cooking tools for us to use. It always was in use on holidays when we would have Pizza Plex baking contests or on birthdays to make a cake or two to devour over the next few days. Ingredients like flour types, sugars, vegetables and baking chocolates were stuffed into cupboards bursting to the brim from being stuffed full. Near a slightly rusted stove was a double doored silver fridge, the doors filled with photos attached on by magnets of cute things like hearts or flowers. Sun set me down and opened the freezer door, scanning its contents. Inside was a lot of different food products, from frozen TV dinners to ice cream cakes past their expiration dates. He grabbed two tv style mac & cheese boxes, handing them to me. 

"Put them in for 2 and a half minutes, I'll make some veggies for them" Sunny smiled, taking the box of boilable veggie mix, "And for Clipsy?" I asked, unboxing one. The food was wrapped in icy cling film, which i had to stab through as it was too frozen to peel off. Sun sprinkled a bag of the veggies into a tray lined with baking paper, eyes on me. "They don't eat, as i don't think they're a Faz bear model. Last they tried; they were out of commission for a week just to unclog their voice box." I nodded at his answer, pressing the buttons on the microwave. The tray of unknown material spun around in a repetitive cycle, a warm murky light buzzing onto it from the flickering bulb inside. we need to replace that, but unless it explodes i doubt anyone will. 

My eyes flicker to Sun, who tied an apron around his waist. "What're you doing?" I asked, turning to face him. He moved his hands in the air, so i assumed he was using his internal system for a recipe. "Gonna bake some Christmas cookies for the kids. They loved them last year so why not make them again, this time with a zesty twist" Sunny chuckled, grabbing two oranges and throwing one at me. "Mind zesting this whilst i get the other stuff?" 

|Sun's POV|

Moon nodded at my request, grabbing a cheese grater from a high-up cupboard. "Make sure not to zest too much or scrap your fingers like last time" I laughed, grabbing a smaller one from a cupboard beside the creaking and leaking sink. Moon whined, setting the orange done. "That was one time and i was distracted cause of a phone call!" He justified, giving me a pot. That just made me chuckle more, grating the peel off the slightly deformed orange i had found. 

About halfway through the baking process, our dinners had finished. We paused to eat, which is when Eclipse came in. They peeked their head in, smiling when they spotted us "Hey guys, was wondering where you two were... what's that smell?" They asked, sitting on the free countertop closest to the little table we ate at. "Orange zest and vanilla." Moonie smiled as he took another forkful of veggies, washing it down with a glass of tap water. "We're making orange reindeer cookies for the kids for next week, we do them every year... well, sunny does anyways, I've only helped for one year I think?" He looked over to me for verification, and i give it to him by nodding, chewing on a large mouthful of gooey mac & cheese. Despite being a simple frozen meal, it was actually pretty good. Though, home-made is defiantly on top, especially Moon's triple cheese recipe. 

"OO, that sounds fun, can I help?" Eclipse jumped off the counter, excitement buzzing through his wires probably. Moonie and I both nod our heads. "Let us finish dinner and we can resume baking, m'kay?" I smiled, watching Clipsy bounce up and down in joy with a pep in their step. In a few minutes, we finished eating and threw the trays away, giving Eclipse an apron before instructing him to crack and beat the eggs. 

After hard work, lots of time and a heavy amount of caffeine and denial, we finished making all the cookies. Exactly 60 cookies, 57 for the total amount of kids and 3 extras for ourselves. Me and Moon were both decently awake, at 70% or above... but Eclipse? The poor bot was at 35%, probably due to the extra work on their weak battery life. All of us have been begging for it to be replaced or at least extended, but they were all rejected due to 'higher priority repairs' or some other bullsh*t. Well, Eclipse's battery is high priority, because if it gets too low, they could die! I know it sounds a bit dumb, but it has happened before. If an animatronics' battery life is too weak and isn't replaced before corrosion, then it can render a robot braindead. It happened to Bonnie before he was replaced, and now it might happen to Eclipse if we don't do something... 

|Eclipse's POV| 

I yawned, checking my power percentage, 33%?! I had 35% like a minute ago, how did it drain so quick?! God, i wish the stupid p&s staff would replace my battery but due to the fact that I'm not a model from their building styles I need an entirely different mechanic to change it! It's a battery, how difficult could it be?! 

"Clipsy, you ok?.." Moon whimpered at me, hugging my arm with a teary-eyed expression on his cute face. I give a fake yet reassuring smile to sooth his nerves, "I'm feeling fine starshine, just a little sleepy is all." Sun eyed me up and down, hanging out aprons up back on the pegs. "I don't believe you. C'mon, Parts & Services time" He took my hand and tried to tug me out the kitchen but i didn't budge. "Sunny, i'm fine, honestly. Can we just go back to the daycare and charge? WE can talk to them tomorrow, i bet they've gone home anyways" I tried to argue, but Sun shook his head. "I know the passwords to the machine codes, and don't forget that i used to be a tech bot before being re-programmed, i can run a simple check or repair some code." He grabbed my wrist and tugged again, holding Moon's hand with his other one. I shook my head and opened my mouth to say my side but Moonie beat me to it. "No offense Sunny but i'm not in the mood to argue with staff over using the machines after hours, you know how cranky they get over it. Besides, i'm sure Clipsy will be ok for another night" He smiled, massaging Sunny's shoulder. He sighed. "But what if his battery life drops to 10% or under, what if they end up like...like Bonnie? I can't afford that, especially at such a festive time. It'll be Clipsy's first Christmas."

Oh yeah, this year's my first Christmas with my lovely partners :D 

Anyways, Sun's arguement made Moon pause, his hand resting by sun's lower rays near his neck. "I guess you're right... but Eclipse is strong, i'm sure they'll make it" He smiled at me, flashing his pointed teeth at me in an adorable manner which made me smile. "Yeah, i'll make it until a morning check-up..." 

"Right?.."
