So I was up at 3:00 in the morning pondering the mysteries of the universe, and a mystery came to me: Can the Crystal Gems get any stronger?
Okay, so you know how in Pokemon, the Pokemon evolve to become more powerful. Well, Gems don't evolve, but similar to Pokemon, they can regenerate after they 'faint' in battle. But can they regenerate stronger than they were before?
The episode "Reformed" seems to prove otherwise, since Amethyst tries to regenerate stronger, but her form isn't sustainable.
My point is, if eighties Garnet punched you would it hurt the same if modern Garnet punched you?
Ow, my arm hurts just thinking about it.
And another random thing: I like how the fusions with multiple sets of arms aren't consistent.
Like, Sardonyx's second set of arms comes out of her torso, where Alexandrite and Opal have their shoulders just stacked on top of each other, and Sugilite, where both arms seem to come from the same shoulder, and Malachite, who pulls off the whole centaur look fabulously, but with arms instead of legs. I like the variety.
