It's amazing the power of my mind after watching several hours of youtube and then taking a shower. No, I am not making an Undertale AU where everyone is a cube (not a swap version of eggtale XD) It's where everyone is a kid/teen and they're all kinda lower class (except a few peeps) and they live on the same street block. Here's my pitch:
Frisk is a new kid on the block, and one of the only "rich kids" on the block. They live on the first townhouse (I'm going to introduce them by houses.)
They act the same way as they do in the game: determined, friendly, and kinda up for anything, a little vision-impaired, doesn't speak that much. 10 years old.
Next is Toriel, 16, likes to bake pies and is the mom of the group (to the surprise of absolutely no one). Lives with her nephew Asriel.
Asriel is cheery and lets everyone baby him, but he's really intelligent and artistic. He likes to hang with Chara, even though no one really knows why. Around 11.
Next house is Sans and Papyrus. Sans is hardworking and supportive, but regularly skips school and when he's there, just kind of sleeps. Papyrus is a little embarrassed of him, but actually loves his brother. Papyrus is loud and semi nuts, self absorbed in a charming way, goofy and completely incapable of harming anything even though he accidentally punched a hole in hardwood when he was younger. Sans is around 15 and Paps is 14. They're also very similar to their in-game selves except human. Some of them aren't, I promise!
Undyne in the next house, her parents had some issues so she lives with her grandpa Gerson. She's friends/ sparring partners with Asgore. People used to pick on her for her yellowey eyes and teeth, but after winning the state wrestling championship she earned herself some street cred. She does prefer swordfighting to sports though, and playing with her friends more than that. Around 14 (and frustrated that sans is older than her)
Then Napstablook. Mettaton visits sometimes, but usually it's just Napsta and Mad Dummy, a.k.a. Marcus. Napsta is just like the game, except the philosophy is a little different. He's kinda lost hope and is just living day to day because he's not going to die any time soon. He becomes friends with Frisk pretty quickly, and has been feeling a little better recently. He also collects snail shells and has four pet snails and a slug. He's about 10.
Marcus is a little alcoholic, but he pays the bills (is kind of scraping by) and isn't abusive. He really does care about Napstablook and has been yelling at Metta to spend some time with his cousin.
The last house is Alphys's, but she's only there about half the time. I'll explain the rest of the characters in part 2 cuz I gotta go to sleep! :D
