Kate Beckett's POV

When it had started to become too cold to be in the water we had taken the love making up to the grass outside our tent. It felt amazing, to feel his skin against mine. And outside like this was just perfect. We made love as the sun disappeared and the stars started to come out to watch down at us.

"And here I was, thinking I could keep my hands off of you even if we skinny dipped" Castle said honest and I couldn't help but laugh at him.

"You really thought that? You? Be able to resist me? Impossible" I teased and he kissed me to shut me up.

"You know, I had this all planned out, but it got all screwed up" he said and I laughed.

He cupped my cheek and let his thumb glide over my swollen lips. Something changed in his eyes and he reached out to find my bra only to take it and give it to me. I gave him a confused face and he leant down to peck my lips before he himself rised from the ground to find his clothes. In the movements he threw my panties to me and I put on my underwear not a clue as to why we were dressing ourselves again.

"You packed something nice right?" he asked and handed me my bag.

"Yes, but why..." he cut me off with a kiss before I could finish.

"You'll see, put it on" he said with a sweet smile before he walked into the tent were he had put his big bag.

I did as he said and before I knew it he had come out from his tent with a lantern in his hand. I had just buttoned my pants when he reached my side. He took my hand and he had a weird smile stuck on his face which got me confused.

"What are you smiling at?" I asked and he tried to decrease his smile.

"Just you, you always make me smile" he said and i narrowed my eyes at him in suspicion.

He leaned down and kissed me too quick for my liking. After he grabbed my hands and started dragging me with him towards one of the walls of rocks. We only had the moon and the lantern Castle had in his hand as a light to find our path towards the rocks. I tried to question where we were going but he just hushed me and told me I would see soon enough. He led me up the rocks, careful helping me up and at some places even lifting me up to make sure I wouldn't fall down, even though I tried to insist I could make it myself. Once we got higher up I was too distracted by looking where I put my feet to see what Castle took me up there to see.

"We're here" he suddenly said and I looked around us.

We were pretty high up but the rocks were plain which meant we could stand without any risk for falling down. I met Castle's eyes with wonder and he just smiled big back at me. He looked up and when I followed his gaze I immediately understood why he had taken me there.

"Wow" was all I could say as I looked up at the stars shining bright in the dark night.

I heard Castle put the lantern on the ground beside us before I heard him taking a deep breath, getting my attention the second his voice sounded in the night. He looked nervous and I raised my eyebrows in question, though he didn't really look at me. It looked like he was trying to build up courage and I couldn't help but wonder what he could need courage to. Suddenly he looked up and right into my eyes with a determined look.

"Ever since I met you I knew you were extraordinary. I don't know how but I immediately got the feeling that I knew you, like there was some invisible force pushing me towards you. You might've called me in because of something my daughter did but I have a feeling that if she hadn't done that prank we would've met anyway because I belong with you. I want to be by your side every second of my life, I want to be able to kiss you for the rest of my life, I want us to be forever" he said and I looked at him confused.
