A sharp knock on his door brought both of our gazes to look at the door briefly.
'Shit,' he cursed under his breath as it was a natural habit of his to spew out explicit words. Hurriedly, he took a hold of my arm and dragged me across his room and into his closet space. Before shutting the doors completely, he spoke harshly under his breath.
'Don't come out until I've come to get you.' The doors were shut close and I was subjected to a darkened and rather cramped area. The space itself had proven to be very small, but I had assumed most of his things were neatly organized into their proper spaces.
I limped slightly over to the door of the closet and pressed my ear against it, trying to catch a glimpse of who might have been visiting him at this time of night.
A shrill voice was heard on the other side, along with a giant thud and the silence that followed after. The conversation had been very limited as only few words were exchanged between them. Footsteps neared my hiding quarter and I backed away from the door, afraid of being caught in such a strange situation.
'...where...tie....birthday...not like...?' The female's question lingered and remained unanswered until Yoongi had replied in a hushed tone.
It had seemed that they began to bicker, voices raising by the second. Still, I remained glued to a tiny corner, heart racing through the dark.
Noises were heard next, ranging from childish giggles to large sighs. As confused as I was, had been instructed not to come out of the closet, nor allow the other person to know I was hiding in the first place.
A sharp throbbing pain consistently jabbed the back of my knees and legs, but alas there was not much I could have done that would have changed my physical state.
Sighing, I crumpled in and brought my legs up to my chest, staring at a small sliver of light that managed to come in through the tiny space between the door and the floor. I crawled near and ducked, looking under the door frame to see if I could get a glimpse of what was happening in the main room.
My line of vision was limited, but I could make out a pair of bright red heels and Yoongi's plain black tie resting on the carpeted floor.
Low groans and curse words were thrown around carelessly, and I covered my ears to block them out. The vulgarity of the language began to stick in my mental processes, but I was aware of how detrimental they were to my vocabulary. If my vocabulary were even up to par, that is.
It was becoming almost frustrating that I couldn't distinguish exactly what was going on on the other end, so I tried to look deeper, digging myself into the ground.
The large wooden chair used from my earlier punishment was on it's side, along with the pointer that rested neatly next to it.
Beyond that, I couldn't see much of anything else. As I raised to get up, my head bumped against the door slightly, causing a loud sound to rise.
Quickly, I scrambled back to my hiding corner and shut my eyes, praying that no one had heard.
Again, footsteps came closer to the door, and more light rushed in as the figure opened it. I dared to open my eyes and look at the intruder.
A young man and women, stood side by side, eyes resting on me.
The man's lips curved up in a sly smirk before turning his head around to talk to Yoongi who was standing a few feet behind.
'What, now you're stashing them in your closets? I'm surprised Stace.' Chuckling, the young woman raised her hand in my direction, and I flinched subconsciously, cowering back.
'Oh my, what have you done to this poor child, Stace'? She's frightened to death, and are those....whip lashes?' Her charcoal painted finger nails pointed at my legs which had unfolded in the series of events.
More than anything, I had wondered why they referred to the head as 'Stace.' As if Yoongi wasn't already intimidatingly authoritative enough.
'She's misbehaved plenty enough today. Bad girls don't deserve to play outside.' Appearing behind the two strangers, he crouched down to my level and took hold of both my cheeks, pinching them with one hand while pouting slightly.
'Isn't that right, kitten?' The proximity of his body and the silkiness of his condescending voice made my blood run cold, and all I could do was stare into his unsympathetic eyes.
'Stace, we've gotta get going, but first thing's first, we need the quartz. A few more milligrams more this time, they're gonna kill me if I come back empty handed.'
Yoongi tossed my chin down before rising to his feet. 'It's on the table, in the green sleeve.' The woman continued to stare at my frazzled state before opening her mouth to speak.
'Yoongi, is she...'
'No,' he snarled almost instantly before storming back to his desk.
