So, periods.

What exactly are these things?

Also called a full stop, they're used to signal the ending of a sentence. 

Ha, just kidding.

I'm sure everyone knows what I'm actually talking about.

Periods occur when the endometrium, or inner lining of the uterus sheds. This is also known as menstruation and occur in females.

Anyways, periods are utterly horrible.

When you sneeze/sit up/lay down/walk and you feel like the blood is just falling like a waterfall. 

OH MY, END THIS CURSED THING! 

When you fall asleep on a white sheet and wake up to what looks like a bloody battleground around you.

I really dislike how people always assume that a mad/sad/angry girl is menstruating. Like, can a girl just be mad for the sake of being mad?

On Wattpad:

The girl is always surrounded by her boyfriend and chocolate and whatnot and is totally content with it... 

Endometriosis/PCOS/cramps/PMS doesn't exist unless there's a boyfriend to save the day.
