Avi felt a small hit of hurt when Mitch told him no, but he quickly dismissed it-- knowing the younger mans reasoning. "That's alright," he smiled. "I understand."

Mitch forced a sad smile, seeing that Avi was hurt. He wanted the hug. But it would only trigger his flashbacks.

He knew Avi was trying to make him feel better-- and that's what made it hurt the most; on both ends.

Scott returned with a glass of water for Mitch, handing it over to the small tenor as he sat beside Avi.

Scott looked at the still distressed man, biting his lip as he thought up a plan to get Mitch's mind off of things.

"Mitchy, you want to go out somewhere? Get lunch, go shopping?" Scott asked.

Mitch sat the glass of water on his bedside table, and stood up. He smiled at the baritone and nodded. "That sounds fun."

Avi stood as well, looking between the two younger men. He believed that it would he a good time to leave, seeings that he wasn't invited-- and he figured the two best friends wanted time together.

"Well, I guess this is my cue to leave."
