•Ten years later•

"Aw, dont cry," Kris said, trying to stop her from crying.

" 'Cause every little thing, is gonna be alright" he sang.

"Is that the only song you know?" I asked.

"It's the only one that'd make her stop crying," he laughs.

"You look like a whale."

"Gee, thanks kiddo." I muttered, rubbing my stomach.

"Mama?"

"Yes, Hailey?"

"Where's daddy?" my four-year old daughter asked, her brown eyes wide.

"He's at work right now sugar."

Hailey hopped off of Kris' lap, running to me, her shoulder-length brown hair swishing with the cool breeze.

Hailey kissed my clothed stomach, "Can I name it?"

"It's a him sweetheart, you're going to have a little brother to play with."

"Let's call him, Mike."

I laughed, smoothing the wild hair on her tiny head, "Why don't you go play with Beau, sweetie?"

"She loves that little green guy Mike, doesn't she?" Kris laughed.

I watched as Hailey played with Beau, in the backyard of our new home. Beau was old now and couldn't quite keep up with Hailey's energy.

I still remembered the day she was born.
"Push, push!" the doctor encouraged. The sweat poured down my face, I was exhausted. Dean held onto my hand the entire time, encouraging me. I felt as if I would've died, Hailey Catherine Diana West, was as stubborn as a mule, still is. But when she finally arrived, after twelve hours of excruciating labour, I forgot about the pain. She was beautiful, even with all the blood around her. Her dark curls were matted on her small head and her fists moved furiously as she cried. The nurses cleaned her off and gave her to me. I looked at Dean who was crying, which triggered my overworked tear ducts. She was so perfect and still is.

"What're you thinking about?" Kristen asked, bringing me out of my reverie.

"Hailey's birth."

He looked fondly to his niece and smiled. Everyone who met Hailey, adored her, she was an angel, so perfect. I'm her mother, so I guess I'd think that.

I rubbed my stomach again, "You better not be so difficult the next two months, little guy," I whispered to my unborn child.

My mind then drifted to our wedding day. The red rose petals scattered on the white aisle. The ballgown shaped strapless dress I wore, Dean's sister Stephanie designed and made, was exactly as I had imagined. The bottom of my dress held small red rose petals inside and the long train trailed behind me, from my silver tiara. My hair was fixed in high, perfected bun, without a hair out of place. My white gloved hands, held onto my bouquet of white roses. They reminded me of my mother and since she couldn't be there in flesh, she was in spirit. "I love you mom," I whispered to the heavens. "You ready sis?" Kris asked. I nodded and looped my hands with his. The guests stood and he guided me down the aisle of the cathedral, walking slowly to the 'Bridal Chorus.' The music stopped and Kris placed my hand in Dean's, taking a seat next to a few relatives in the front. Elise, stood next to me as my maid-of-honour, clad in a simple white strapless dress, and Emmett next to Dean as his best man. The two wore matching classic tuxedos with black bow-ties. I handed my bouquet to my best friend and turned towards Dean.
