I fluttered my eyes open the next morning when I woke up, feeling lightheaded. I first saw Taehyung's face right before mine, and he was still in deep sleep. I smiled, feeling blessed to have him around. The way he smiles in his sleep is simply adorable. I couldn't help but cup my hand to his cheek, still gazing at him. I leaned in a little closer to give a peck on his lips, before he finally opened his eyes to look at me.

"Yah, you weren't asleep, were you?" I smacked his chest.

He broke into giggles, pulling me closer by my waist, "Did you sleep well?"

I nodded in response, "Let's get up and have breakfast."

I was about to sit up before he stopped me, pulling me back down to lay beside him. He cupped my face, then stared into my eyes.

"W-What?" I questioned.

"Shhh, just let me admire you for awhile," He smiled, caressing my face.

I got embarrassed, that I couldn't even look at him in the eye. "Stop it, silly," I tried to hold in my smile and slapped his hand away. I sat up and swung my legs off the edge of the bed, then got up on my two feet and headed to the bathroom to wash myself up.

Just when I was washing my face, Taehyung came in as well to join me. "I thought you were showering," he laughed and grabbed the tube of toothpaste.

"Don't even think about it," I smacked his arm, but I could feel my face heating up. I quickly rinsed my face, then looked at him, "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Anything but eggs," he scoffed, "Pizza?"

"Sounds like a healthy breakfast," I chuckled, walking out of the bathroom and grabbed my phone to call up for pizza delivery.

About half an hour later, Taehyung and I were simply talking in the living room before the pizza finally came. We talked, and talked, and ate. I felt so happy just to be able to have a conversation with him.

"Are you still afraid about yesterday?" He asked, "Because I kinda wanna bring you out tonight."

I swallowed my food before answering him, "Not really."

He must've noticed that I looked a little uneasy, that he paused chewing on his food for awhile. "I don't want you to think about it. He's going behind the bars for what he has done, that bastard--"

I gave him a peck on his lips, instantly stopping him from all of his ramblings. "Thank you," I murmured, "I'm alright."

He sighed, continuing to eat.

After we ate, we spent the whole afternoon on the couch, watching movies and cuddling, until evening came.

"Aren't you bored?" He asked, resting his head on my shoulder and yawned.

"Well, I guess. But what can we do?" I asked and switched the television off.

"Let's go get ice cream," he suggested, pushing himself off the couch and stood up, "Go get changed."

"I'm lazy," I said, but he seemed persistent to get me changed so that we could go out.

I finally gave in and he lent me one of his grey sweaters, one that smelled very much like him. We headed out of the house, and when we were in the elevator, Taehyung kept gazing at me, a little nervously. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, slightly chuckling.

"Nothing," He looked elsewhere, "You just look cute in that oversized sweater."

"That's a rare compliment coming from you," I teased, before he lightly hit my head.

We walked down the street while linking arms, and he seemed a little tensed and quiet, probably because of the chilly weather. I squeezed my arms around his tighter, and he smiled shyly as we continued to walk.

After we got our ice creams, as usual, we continued walking to the park and Taehyung haven't spoke much. "Are you alright?" I asked, suddenly worried about him, "Or you're cold?"

He shook his head. "I'm fine," he said and sat on the bench beside me, only looking at his ice cream.

I quirked an eyebrow, staring at him intently. I grabbed his hand and clasped it in mine, and he looked at me with a rather shocked expression. "Your hand's freezing cold. Is it the weather, or are you just nervous?"

"I'm cold," he answered shortly, quickly trying to finish his ice cream.

"We shouldn't have gotten ice creams," I said, but he assured me that he was fine.

The sky got darker, and we continued talking until we finished our ice creams. Since the temperature seemed to have dropped, I suggested that we should head home, but he said that we should stay for a bit. "Aren't you cold?" I asked, my teeth chattering.

"Just, give me a moment," he sighed, looking unusually nervous.

"What is it?" I waited for him to continue speaking, but nothing came out of his mouth. "I'm heading home if you're taking too long," I stood up from the bench and as if to add emphasis to it, I took a step away from him before he quickly grabbed my wrist to stop me.

He stood up and turned me around to face him, "No, I just-- Actually I-- okay, I need to give you something."

I didn't respond, but just looked at him as he dug something out from his pocket. My heart skipped a beat when I saw it was a small, black box and I could almost predict what was in it. "I promised this," He said, sounding a little nervous, "We'll start over."

He fumbled to open the box anxiously and I almost laughed at his adorableness but I stayed composed.

My heart burst with joy when I saw a gorgeous diamond ring, resting in the box. I felt moved to tears, and pursed my lips to stay calm. He couldn't help but smile, knowing that I was just as nervous as he was.

"Okay look, I'm a nervous wreck right now so can you please just accept this ring."

I finally burst into laughter, and he calmed down a little. I looked at him, then nodded, putting my hand out. He finally heaved a sigh of relief, taking out the ring from the box before slipping it carefully into my finger. I admired the ring, and I was pleased at how it fitted perfectly.

"Ahh... this proposal didn't go too well," He scratched the back of his head and smiled sheepishly. I melted at how adorable he seemed, his imperfectness was too precious.

I quickly pulled him in for a tight hug, and he hugged me in return. I could feel his heart beating fast in his chest against mine, and thinking of it, how nervous he must've been just to present me the ring.

We parted for awhile, and our lips naturally met and adrenaline began to course through my veins as he kissed me rather softly. His hands flew down to my waist, holding me tighter in his embrace as our mouths danced together in perfect harmony.

I could feel him smile against my lips, making my heart flutter and it felt like the world seemed to suddenly melt away around me.

We finally released the kiss after awhile, only to rest our foreheads against each other's.

"I love you," he whispered, staring intently into my eyes.

"I love you more," I whispered back to him, smiling widely.
