"If you and me become estranged someday, if we could never meet each other, Don't forget. Don't lose. Even if you are holding another's hand, if you are somewhere I cannot go..."

~Don't Forget-CRUSH ft. Taeyeon

"You haven't been taking any of your medication, and it shows." The doctor continued, shooting Mrs. Park a glare. "God, you poor soul, you're shaking."

Taehyung couldn't help it, his presence scared him on such a level that he felt like he was stuck in the spot, unable to convince himself to move, but unable to stop shaking. He thought he was ready to face him, to meet the doctor's cold eyes, but he wasn't. He found himself looking frantically from Mrs. Park to the doctor. You came with him? You seem so calm, why are you calm? Why are you letting him say these things? Eomma, I thought you said you wouldn't let him, but you practically invited him. I don't understand, I don't understand!

Mrs. Park pushed past the doctor who'd been making his way closer by the second and knelt down by Taehyung's side and held his shaking hand. "Taehyung, please don't be upset at me, I want him away from you too, but legally he has to be here, please just keep calm, honey, he just needs to sign a paper, and then you won't have to see him. He'll take his dumb-ass somewhere else." She half whispered, loud enough that the doctor must have heard.

The doctor squinted, looking disgusted. "Is this what you teach the children you get? That doctors are evil?" His tone wasn't like how it was when Taehyung was at the mental hospital, it was harsher, without the fake smiles and baby talk, without any cushioning or filtering. He just didn't seem to be in the mood to try to be nice.

Mrs. Park closed her eyes and sighed, still kneeling by Taehyung, "You make that true, Bastard. I know about how you run your division, you treat them like dogs, like they aren't even people, your answer to everything is goddamn pills!" Mrs. Park said through her clenched teeth.

"Language. I will not be talked to like this, Mrs. Park, I'll make sure you lose you job and everything you ever worked for."

Mrs. Park stood up, sizing the doctor up, she was shorter, but the look in her eyes was fierce and venomous enough to make up for that. "Just do what you came to do."

The doctor smiled. "I came to take Taehyung back, and stop your inappropriate behavior."

Mrs. Park got quiet. Taehyung was already scared and quiet, but he could feel himself shiver harder, like every muscle in his body couldn't stay still despite how much he wanted to be still, to stop shivering. This is a nightmare, someone wake me up, I can't take it anymore, make it stop.

Mrs. Park turned away, grabbing Taehyung's hand again and pulling him to his feet. "Y-you can't do that, you don't have the authority to..." Her voice was shaky, not as sure, and from the way she was squeezing Taehyung's hand, the subtle shake to her fingers, she was scared.

The doctor hadn't lost an ounce of composure, holding up his index finger. "One document. Just one signature away from having the authority to. Hardest signature to get, but still just one, and then Taehyung can get the care he needs--that I might add you've been purposely neglecting."

Mrs. Park looked down at the floor, then bit her lip. Taehyung watched her closely, wanting to see that she could say something to debunk that, to counteract it, but she said nothing, and her body language seemed to speak more and more of fear.

The doctor smiled. "We see eye to eye, I see. Now let's get to the front desk and get this over with." He stepped out of the way and gestured for Mrs. Park to exit first. "Ex-Psychiatrists first."
