Ilang minuto na ang lumipas ng umalis ako sa lugar na iyon. I was still confused. I know na hindi ko dapat masyadong ino-over think ang mga bagay.

Maybe, he just really wanted to help me.

Nothing more.

I walked to our table like nothing happened.

Well, nothing really happened.

When I went to our spot, may pagkain na. Marahil hindi nila ako nahintay. I sit beside Van because it was the only vacant seat.

"Ang tagal mo. Anyway, mind telling us what happened to you last night?" Yan agad ang tanong na bumungad sa akin pagkaupo ko. It was Steff who threw the question.

"Someone followed me." I didn't mention Laxus because they didn't know him. "Then I killed them." I added like it was just a simple thing.

"Do you know who they are?" Tanong ni Steff sa mahinang boses.

"No." I lied. I said and bit on my sandwich.

"Maybe it was just some random gang, o baka nakalaban na natin dati?" Steff said in a hushed voice.

"Maybe, I don't know." I replied and sipped on the juice I was drinking. Napansin kong nakikinig lang ng tahimik si Van at Cliff.

"Bakit ka tinamaan?"

"I didn't see it coming, may isa pa pala. I thought they were just five." I said then shrugged.

"You should've told us para nakapunta kami." I turned towards my side only to see Van staring at me. "But at least, you're fine now." Van said.

Tumaas ang kilay ko. "Your arm." I said.

"What?" He replied.

"Remove it from the back of my chair." I said. My face was blank.

He remained motionless bago siya ngumiti at kumilos upang tanggalin ang pagkakapatong na kamay niya sa likod ng upuan ko.

Sumandal lang ako sa at nanatiling tahimik habang kumakain. As much as possible gusto ko lang manahimik at huwag umimik.

"Are you in?"

I instantly looked up ng maramdaman ang pagpitik sa noo ko. I glared at Van.

"What the- Anong problema mo?" Hindi siya tumingin sa akin at umiwas lang ng  tingin habang may playful na ngiti sa labi. Kumuha siya ng fries saka kinain ito.
