I knew how much that words sounded bitter against my tongue. I didn't care though.

Cole sat on his usual seat beside me, giving me unusual looks. When I mean unusual, there was curiosity and something more. I never directed my gaze on him, but I knew what he was doing.

He was fucking staring at me.

As much as I wanted to at least listen to our professor in front to distract myself, I didn't succeed. At dahil iyon sa lalaking nasa tabi ko.

It went just like that. Nothing more. Even until after class. We never talked. I pretended not to notice him. I managed to resist his eyes that almost melted me on the spot. Shit.

I went straight ahead without looking back. Hindi ko na kinumpirma kung nakatingin parin ba siya sakin.

Umalis rin ako ng classroom bago pa man ako mapansin nina Van na tumakas na naman. It's not like I don't want to be with them but I just wanted to be alone.

I was wondering where I should go when I heard my phone ringing. I picked it up only to be greeted by the name of my father flashed on the screen.

Nagpakawala ako ng isang malalim na buntong hininga bago ko ito pagod na sinagot.

"What now?" Tanong ko habang naglalakad sa malawak na pathway ng paaralan. Medyo makulimlim kaya hindi masyadong mainit ang panahon at pahapin na rin naman.

Ngunit pa man ako makapagsalita ay may nakita na akong pumaradang sasakyan sa harapan ko. Napakunot ang noo ko ng makita ang pulang buhok ng lalaking bumaba sa sasakyan.

Laxus Matthew Maguire was smiling widely in front me.

And mind you, he was wearing black pants and white longsleeves na polong nakatupi hanggang siko niya yet the students who saw him was near to drooling habang tinititigan siya.

"Matthew will be there to escort you, sasamahan ka niya pabalik ng Italy." Sabi niya kaya napatingin ako kay Laxus.

Magtatanong pa sana ako ng maputol ang mga katanungan sa isip ko dahil nagsalita siyang muli.

"I need you to go here as soon as possible." There was urgency in his voice kaya nanatili lang nakatikom ang bibig ko. "Nakahanda na ang eroplanong sasakyan niyo."

"Okay." I replied, then he ended the call.

"What's happening?" I asked as I put my phone back on my bag.

"I can't tell you yet." He smiled at me. Pero parang may awa akong nakita sa mga mata niya, as if he knew that what's going to happen is something.. terrible.. for me.
