It was midnight. I sat on the docks and strained my ears for any noise around me.

I heard two sets of feet walking towards me, so I stood. They each had a small backpack filled with what I'm guessing is essentials.

"So, how exactly are we getting out?" Percy asked. "I'm glad that you asked." I responded.

I looked around and saw that not a soul was in sight.

"Follow me." I said. The three of us entered the forest. We stayed along the entrance and kept ourselves concealed. I saw the van that we would use to get to Boston.

I stopped them and said "The Midgard entrance to the World Tree is in Boston. Do either of you know where the keys for the van are?"

"In the van, sun visor." Annabeth said. "Perfect." I said. I saw that there was a camper standing guard by the van. I made my sword appear and aimed it at a tree by the entrance. "What are you doing?" Percy whispered.

"Shooting the tree with lightning, that ought to distract him." I said. "Not that one, that's Thalia's." Annabeth said. I remembered what Jason told me about that tree, so, out of respect, I chose a smaller tree about twenty feet from it.

I took a deep breath and shot it with a small bolt of electricity. The tree caught fire, and the boy standing guard by the van ran towards it as the other demigods tried to put it out. I willed my sword to disappear. I ran to the van and said "Either of you two know how to drive?"

Percy ran to the drivers seat and grabbed the keys. I sat in the passengers seat so I could direct him and Annabeth sat in the back.

"Drive!" Annabeth said. Percy drove the van out of Camp Half-Blood. On the way out, I made the fire vanish. As I said before, I had powers over fire, but no one knows that.

"You know everything that she knows about the Norse gods and such, correct?" I asked him. "Yeah." Percy replied.

"I am so sorry that I had to pull you both into this, I just didn't know who else to turn to." I said. "It's fine, like I said." Annabeth said. "I wouldn't have let her go without me anyways." Percy said with a hint of a smirk.

"I'm guessing Magnus told you what he knew about the Greek world." Annabeth said. I nodded my head and said "Your friend Jason filled me in on the stuff I didn't know as well."

"So, you know our story, all our quests and everything." Percy said. "Yeah, you guys have done a lot in such a short time. It's impressive." I said.

"Thanks. What have you done? Have you gone on any quests before?" Annabeth asked. I took a deep breath, sighed, and said "Not exactly." And so, I explained my story to them as we drove towards Boston, though I left out some major details that I would rather not share at the moment, such as my torture in Jotunheim. All that I told them of that was that I was locked in a jail cell for a long time.

"So, you really don't know who your godly parent is?" Percy said with a slight look of anger upon his face. I nodded and looked out the window. "What if you were actually made out of the earth?" Annabeth said.

"I have a feeling that that's not the case."I replied. "Why do you say that?" She asked. "I've just...been around too long to know that I have a family. I must have. I don't know if my mortal parent is still alive, they most likely aren't, but I know that I have parents. I can sense that much." I said.

"What do you mean 'been around too long'?" Percy asked. "Well, I was born in 1821 in Great Britain." I replied. Percy hit the breaks. "HOW OLD ARE YOU?" He asked.

"Around 300; honestly after 150 you just stop counting." I replied. "Explain." Annabeth asked with confusion on her face. "Thor made me immortal so he could get the answer out of me." I replied. "I didn't have a choice." I finished sadly.

"So, your immortal." Percy said. "Yeah, but I don't know if my situation is like the gods immortal or like the Hunters of Artemis immortal. I've never been killed or harmed so much I could possibly die so I just don't know." I said. "Oh. Okay. That's completely normal." Percy said as he started to drive again. "Nothing in this world is. Nothing in any of the worlds are." I said.

We continued to drive in silence until the sun rose. "I'm hungry." Percy said. "Me, too." Annabeth said. I saw a drive through Burger King about thirty yards away from the car. I stuck my hand out and willed three hamburgers and fries to come to us in a bag.

What? Food is made from products that come from the earth. "How did you do that?" Annabeth asked as she held the bag with all of the food in it. "Magic." I replied with a small smirk. "Well, we know that." Percy said.

I didn't reply. I didn't want them to know of my other powers. If two people know, then everyone knows. "How did you do that?" Annabeth asked again.

"Lightning produces fire. Fire is used to make those foods." I said. It was a good enough response to keep them quiet. "So, you've developed your powers so much that you can do that?" Percy asked. "Yeah, but it take like fifty or so years to truly master." I said.

"One time I accidentally grabbed a stove instead of a burger." I said, which was a true story. They laughed, and so, I did too.

"So, Percy. You're a son of Poseidon. You have power over water?" I asked. He nodded his head. I looked back at Annabeth and said "He any good?" With a sly smirk.

"Hey!" Percy said in an expression mock-hurt. I smiled lightly at that. "I have a question." Annabeth said after a few moments of us just eating our burgers and fries.

"Ask away." I replied as I popped a fry in my mouth. "Have you ever considered that maybe your not a Norse demigod?" She asked.

"Of course I am. Why would my life have been this way? Why-why do you ask?" I replied. "Well, what if you're a child of Zeus or something and you were just pulled into the Norse world by accident?" Annabeth asked.

"I don't think it was an accident. I don't think they'd screw it up that much." I said. "It's just a thought. I mean, you can control lightning, Jason can control lightning. What if he's your brother?" She said.

"I don't know." I said after a pause. "It's a crazy idea, but it could have happened." I said looking out the window.

What if I was a Greek demigod, not a Norse demigod? Would that mean that my entire life was a lie?
