"Do you have any idea of who the Kanima is?" I question.

Derek nods,

"I've got two ideas. Jackson because his body is rejecting the bite, or Lydia, because she was bitten by an Alpha."

"And how are you going to find out who it is?"

"I'm going to take some of the venom from the Kanima and make them drink it and see which one of them doesn't get paralysed, because everyone knows that a snake can't be poisoned by its own venom."

Stiles, Scott, Allison and I are currently brainstorming in Scott's house. We know that Gerard has taken over the school. And we've found out that the person that killed Isaac's father wasn't a person at all. It is part of the supernatural but we're no closer to finding out what it is. Then I remember that Gerard is a hunter,

"He's probably got a beastiary."

They look at me with confusion

"It's a book full of stuff about the supernatural. Does your grandfather have anything he keeps close to him?" I ask as she shakes her head in reply.

Then Scott and Stiles get up and leave after we formulate a plan there is a lacrosse game tonight. I get a text from Derek

Come to the school I need you to help me with something.

I look at Allison she nods and tells me to go and that the plan will still work. I go to the school and see Derek and... Erica ugh! I walk to them and I hear the cheers of the game Stiles will probably be looking for the beastiary in Gerard's office. I walk behind Derek and Erica. We go to the pool and Derek nods to Erica.

"So, you wanna tell me your plan?"

"Well I want to know what this creature is. So, I'm going to get a description" He picks up a basketball while I hear Erica coming back.

I turn to see Erica come back dragging Stiles by the ear I growl at her but she lets go of him and returns behind Derek.

"What did you see at the garage?"

"Several alarming EPA violations that I'm really considering reporting." Erica laughs slightly while Derek smirks.

He pops the basketball with his claws.

"Holy god." Stiles says.

"Lets try that again." Derek says.

"Alright. The thing was pretty slick looking, it had scales and a tail and orange slits for eyes" Derek looks at Stiles

"Stiles that isn't much to go on" I say to him

"It had a round head and loads of teeth" I look above Stiles and see the thing that he is describing. Oh shit.

"Are we done here? Because I have someone I really need to talk to.Wait have you guys seen it because you've got this look on your faces like you've seen it before" he looks above him

"Stiles run!" I tell him.

Erica turns to run but the creature throws her at the wall. I run to her side and she's breathing heavily and her heartrate is alarmingly high, I take her hand and take away her pain. I turn my head to see Derek get cut in the back of the neck I try to run to him but Erica's grip on my hand tightens,

"Thank you"

I look to her and smile.

Then I run at the creature and jump on its back and attack it to give Stiles enough time to run with a paralysed Derek. Stiles drops his phone and goes to get it but let's go of Derek. Derek falls in the pool,
